Took my bike in for a service after botching my own attempt at gear indexing. They did a solid job: bike came back feeling smoother and faster than ever - and with all the gears working. $90 full service price seemed reasonable given they included a fresh pair of brake pads. I appreciate being able to book online. Will certainly be recommending them to friends with bikes requiring some TLC!
Hooray, a bike shop that realizes that half the population are female - and stock product accordingly. Very refreshing. Super helpful as well.
Excellent experience - Ric the new owner has been around the cycle industry for many years. Has a wealth of knowledge .He sells and services all styles of bikes. A very experienced person who has staff that are very knowledgeable Genuine people and service has been excellent 10/10
So spokes. Not that important right - but if you don't have them and need them to build a set of wheels then you need a few. And getting them in Covid time is nigh on impossible. I'd tried 3 different bike shops to buy DT Swiss spokes - something that they just didn't seem to be able to do - not calling me back, said they'd placed an order, and never getting the actual product. So I saw that Cycle Trading Co had them online - not only did their website work flawlessly to place the order, 24 hours I had the product in my hands. Honestly - after the bad experience of expert 'bike shops' give these guys a go - you will not be disappointed.
Very pleased with the service, bike, helmet, puncture proof tyres and lock that I purchased. The staff were very helpful and accommodating. They fitted the tyres very quickly as well and made adjustments to brake handle positions etc. Very good service.
This is a true old school bike shop. Plenty of bits and bobs to style up your bike.
Service received was top drawer. Intelligent recommendations and the folk I dealt with were friendly as well. As a new cyclist it’s all a blur, with things you might require/need, so thoughtful advice is always gratefully received. I can’t think of any reason why I would go elsewhere in the future.

I really appreciate the service I received at Cycle Trading Co. The team took time to help me make my decision, and were incredibly helpful making adjustments on the bike at no extra charge, so that it was just right for me. The shop has a large in-store selection, many of the bikes are quite unique compared to other traders. You can ride the bikes around a little to get a feel for them first which really helps in the decision process.
Great repair service ! Very friendly. Very experienced. Did the work very quickly, and very reasonable price. A pleasure to deal with all round ! No hesitation in highly recommending Cycle Trading. I had tried 4 other shops and they either didn't have the parts, or didn't have the time, or were not keen on the job
