Story

We love cycling at Torpedo 7 Christchurch, and our bike department is one of the best in the country! We stock a wide range of bikes and gear, and also have a fully fledged workshop for any repairs that need doing. This page is dedicated to keeping you informed on what's going in our shop, what news we come across and what events are happening in Christchurch and beyond. Yesterday I bought a pair of ski boots from Brandon. He molded and fitted my boots using some pretty cool tools. Good price too for brand new extremely light durable ski boots. Plus I got some ski poles with a slight discount. Great customer service! I'd always recommend going physically to the store

I find in store staff to be kind, courteous and helpful although stores are massively understocked.  DO NOT buy anything online from T7. I've waiting in excess of 1 month for items on multiple occasions after making full payment and on one occasion they were sold out and never told me.  The Communication, customer service, stock tracking, and policies around refunds, returns, and exchanges are not acceptable.  I had to do all the chasing, and spent hours on hold and being fobbed off. Never again.

Ordered a weight bench and some weights online for click and collect. Website said there was a delay of 10 days, that was fine. 2 weeks later, no communication. I emailed and got an auto reply saying someone would contact me within 48 hours. 1 week later, nothing. After 2 months waiting, I had enough. I emailed saying I wanted a refund. 2 weeks later I finally got a refund, minus the shipping fee! Disgraceful.nnNEVER AGAIN. Torpedo7 cannot be trusted.

Had a brilliant salesperson in the bike department help me with buying a bike - thanks Jack for all your help. I haven’t been on a bike for a few years due to an injury so he took his time ensuring I was getting a bike for my needs and that I had confidence in my choice. Your customer service was great. A big shout out to Jack at Torpedo 7 Clarence Street. Cheers

In all my days on this earth I have never seen such a polite and informed young man deescalate a situation as I did today. The customer in front of me was being rude and clearly condescending towards this boy at the counter and he handled the situation very well, I hope this doesn’t happen too much anymore.
