Avoid. Most rude, aggressive customer experience of my life. Like several other customer experiences in the reviews here, I leaned my bike up against the window just inside the door. Was very rudely told I can't leave my bike there and to park it at the bike stand. Thought he was pointing to the stands outside the store. Politely explained I don't have a bike lock, which was what I was here to buy and I am not comfortable leaving it unlocked outside. Was told "whats wrong with you - don't you understand English". Told him to his face he was rude - pulled his head in after that. Still can't believe that's how they treat customers. Avoid.
Yet again I received incredible service from Fleet Cycles yesterday. Fitted my new seat post yesterday after expert recomendation and works great. And to top it off, was a very competitive price. Well done the team at Fleet Cycles.
One of my pedals in my old Avanti MTB broke on my way to work. I rang the Fleet Cycles team for help and they were able to offer me a new replacement to buy on the spot. Super friendly when I dropped in and got me sorted and on my way quickly, efficiently and all at a very reasonable cost. I recommend them highly.
Went in three weeks ago with a chain that had broken, I do not know about bikes so I was going to get a new chain but the guy had said get a joiner as it's easier to fix so I purchased that, after going home the guy did not say I needed a special tool to take the broken joiner off so had to go back into the store to get that done and came home to put it together and it just wouldn't lock in. Went to another bike shop. Advanti sold is the wrong part even though they had seen the broken chain. Don't recommend them at all. Total muck around, of something which should of been so simple.
A great shop with excellent service. Tell them what you need and what your budget is and they will do the rest. You will end up with a fantastic bike. They are experts and know all about bikes and can answer all your questions.
Awesome friendly and genuine service. When I was shopping around for a new helmet these guys easily had the biggest and best range, and good knowledge to back it up. Cheers
Popped in on way home with my bike to look round, imediately told in abrupt terms to shift my bike and to turn off my light, so I left. There are lots of good bike shops in Christchurch and most have much better customer service.
Dropped a tyre off with a puncture yesterday, was advised it would be ready in three days. Got a TXT next morning saying that it was all fixed. Great service and significantly cheaper than our last tube replacement.
The team here are first class, always found them friendly. Know their stuff, leave with a new tip or two. Well priced items too, not greedy. Keep up the good work team 10/10
Went in to buy a bike for myself. Rude staff who wouldn't serve me or assist in anyway. Way too busy looking at their phones. I went elsewhere in the end and got great service. Edit this ia probably why they are closing.
