Just what I want in a bike shop. Simon doesn’t sell bikes, he fixes them and sells parts and accessories. And a stellar job he does too! Genuine, honest, friendly and informative service. No “attitude”, like that found in many other intimidating businesses. His quote for my major service was spot on. He knows what he’s doing, will do what’s needed, and tell you what else might need doing later when you have more money! Love the cluttered shop too. Brilliant!
Very good service. Explained everything and was very happy with the service on my bike. Tilly the dog gave friendly pats for free too
Excellent communication and service. There is a bit of a wait to get your bike in as they are very busy, took me around 2-3 weeks to get bike in. When I had my appointment, bike was ready and fixed in a couple hours! Highly recommend.
Really nice to have a bike mechanic this good so close to home. I admit that I do a lot of my own bike maintenance, but had to get my son's bike sorted out a while back when it was purchased and found to be borderline unrideable due to front derailleur rub an argument against online purchases. This was something I simply could not fix myself, so I had a look around and tried Cycle Surgery. Simon had dished the rear wheel and sorted out the crank offset within a few days, at very little cost, and the owner was a happy lad indeed. Very friendly and generous with his knowledge. Won't hesitate to go back when things need tweaking again. Hoping Cycle Surgery is around for a long time!
Ignore the negative review that was posted recently by a confused person. The others speak for themselves. I Just had my bike serviced and it has never been better. Simon is honest, reasonable, informative, reliable and extremely competent.
Excellent service, went through everything needing work, and when I asked about some items possibly needing work, he indicated these items still have life. Glad not feel overcharged and buying unnecessary items for my bike! Thanks Simon!
Simon's a very helpful guy with great knowledge. Does great work and has saved us money by fixing/tuning parts that other shops said needed replacing. Highly recommend his shop.
Great service, very knowledgeable local owner. Has everything you're likely to need to keep your bike going at reasonable prices. Easily a favourite lbs!
Couldn't recommend Cycle Surgery highly enough. Simon is a brilliant mechanic and a great guy. Highly customer focused and great prices. Fixes bikes other stores won't touch. He's popular - you need to book!
Top class service, Simon knows his stuff both with modern bicycles and the old school steel bikes with cotter pins and no sealed bearings. He has a lot of spare parts for older bicycles too. SAved me having to go to Fyshwick Bearings to get the wheel and bottom bracket bearings I needed. Highly recommended for parts and service.
