What a delight! I have used curry point catering services for a small in house function. I ordered Kadhai Paneer, Daal Makhani, Mix Veg & Naans. Delivery was spot on time. All curries were fabulous and had authentic Indian taste. Really very hard to tell which curry was best. 100% of my guests praised the food, and this is what every host aspire for! I was also given few extras like food warmer, green salad etc. and this really helped. It was as if I was dealing with a friend whose intention was to go the extra mile to make my event successful. Very courteous, friendly & professional! Will definitely use them again and happy to recommend their catering services!
There pudina chicken is always a winner, but rice was quite uncooked 3rd time in a row. My only reason to give 2 start is because they are dishonest. They ripped off a white old lady who is so fond of curries but not able to understand the plate options. I felt very bad and regretted that I should have intervened. 31/08/2019 : Looks like management is changed and now the food is awesome, naans bread are v good and the customer service is changed a lot for good. Giving 2 stars extra now :
They are bloody rip-off. Naan breads so thick and not cooked properly. Customer service sucks. Very rude owner and no proper maintenance of the place. Not tidy. Order a unlimited naan bread and check your bill - it will be more than what you see on the board. The chicken in the curry must be old. when asked why it tasted so dofferent - the guy told it's fresh n it is 2 days old. They still serve the same.
Butter chicken literally taste like chicken peices in spaghetti sauce. Noticed it was also a watery texture. While dining in saw the shop keeper adding water to the dishes which made sense as to why my butter chicken was so watery. Waste of my $12.00 and never going back.
I had been on this way many a times, have seen this restaurant full at lunch times. Today I decided to try their food. I had Rice with chicken vindaloo, lamb masala and plain roti. Lamb Masala was awesome. The quantity was more than enough for me. Overall the food was very tasty. Will recommend to all my friends. Good value for money.
Food was extremely salty. One girl serving. She put most of our order up on the counter top and then began serving other customers before realising she hadn't included the naan or Roti. Meanwhile the food was sitting in containers on the counter top getting cold. Finally got the breads, paid and left. Arrived home to find that we were given the wrong curry. Asked for 2 butter chicken and rice. One was butter chicken, the other was a super spicy curry with no rice. Feeling hungry, ripped off and very confused. Had read positive reviews about Curry Point but unfortunately for us us tonight, it's $34 that could have been spent somewhere else. If the owner / manager reads this - please take note and check salt levels of curries and that staff are delivering good customer service, not just going through the motions of being there for the sake of having a job.
Authentic home-cooked indian food with wonderful customer service and amazing prices. No idea what the bad reviews are about. The staff are lovely and served the best indian food i’ve had in melbourne. Samosas are also a steal at just $2!
Poor customer service. Was served meal in dirty plates. Had Amritsari kulcha which was a disappointment. Curry was alright but cold. It's a good joint with capacity to grow. Hope they improve over time.
