This is a great place for late night food. They have freshly made all you can eat rotti with a choice of 2 or 3 curries from the buffet curries are not all you can eat. There is also some selection on the menu you can order like briyani. This place is not fancy but they make up for it in there quick service.
Probably my favourite Indian meal in Melbourne, authentic atmosphere with a good mix of Veggie and non-veggie options. Far better service than other similar venues and $12 for unlimited roti thali meal is just right in my opinion. I work long shifts five days a week and having this as a weekly treat gives me something varied to look forward to, especially when the last thing I want to do is cook. Don't forget to grab some free tea with your meal!
Great value for money, specially if you pick the option with unlimited roti. But the taste of the butter chicken wasn’t very tasty, but the chicken were nice and tender. The other chicken curry just tasted spicy.
Good value for money with the thali and all you can eat roti bread. My partner who has more a tougue for spice enjoyed his meal however i felt the food was too spicy, even the butter chicken. Certainly had tastier elsewhere. I wasn't very hungry and would have wanted to share a meal with my partner but apparently you have to order a meal each, the guy also rushed us to pay when we went to place our meal on a table. Suspect it may be due to walk outs but that's not the right ways to treat all your customers. Good if you like spicy food, good value and don't care for service. Personally I wouldn't return.
I went to Delhi Rocks after a long time yesterday. They have moved to a new location next to Dosa Hut. Delhi Rocks is an Indian restaurant providing tasty meals at an affordable price. To add some happiness, They are open till 2.30 am on Saturday night and 2 am on Friday night. I ordered Dal Makhni, Chole chana and Rice for my Dinner yesterday. Although the food was bit mild, I really enjoyed the food and would recommend anyone who likes to have indian food in Melbourne on King Street. They do serve Indian sweets and Masala Tea at the restaurant. The new restaurant location has more sitting space with modern ambience and the toilets are new too.
Good place for late night food. It would be great if they provide other veggies along with onion for salad instead of only onion.
As authentic as it can get in a foreign land! We had rajma chawal and aloo paratha. It was freshly made and was absolutely delicious!
Thali with a choice of 3 curries for just $12. They have many vegetarian and non vegetarian options to choose from. Unlimited rotis and free chai. If you’re looking for some tasty, simple and pocket friendly north Indian khana, head here.
Best Indian restaurant ever been to in more than a Decade. Arrived here midnight and the food knocked my socks off.
Good, simple and authentic food! We tried the standard 12$ lunch, with 2 curry choices, 1 pudding and unlimited Rotti that was sooo good. Butter chicken, korma, masala were all good.
