Story

Established in 1980 , currently the oldest vegetarian restaurant in Melbourne. Started by renowned internationally vegetarian master chef extraordinaire Kurma Das. It has been owned and operated by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON) or commonly known as The Hare Krishna's for the past 31 years.

Delicious vegetarian and vegan food at amazing prices.  Nothing fancy but friendly staff and a variety of à la carte or meal options. The vegetable dishes were flavorful, and the salads were fresh.  The line varied between 3-4 people to 12, but service is fast.  Cards and cash accepted.

Good vegetarian food worth every penny you spend. Tucked away in the heart of the city is this delightful place to be ...up a set of stairs... and you reach a desirable fulfilling vegetarian cuisine. Clean Ambience where family, work mates or individuals can explore and not heavey on the pocket.

Welcoming staff, beautiful ambience and what a lovely scrumptious food. I come out happy, whenever i go to this place.

Gopals is budget food but great value for money. Their vegan lasagne is the best.

Great healthy fresh food which happens to be vegan. Cool, friendly atmosphere. Great value!!!
