Brought to you by the Rossetti family, with a vision of creating the very best food without limitations, Cala Luna delivers a real Italian dining experience with a rich assortment of dishes, handed down over the years through the Rossetti family. Much of our menu is sourced from the family farm in the NSW Southern Highlands.

We've been to Cala Luna a number of times - twice in its old location and twice in its new location in the Middle Harbour Yacht Club. Every single time we have been thoroughly impressed. The serving sizes are very generous. The beef and much of the produce is from a farm linked to the restaurant owner. if you are a meat lover I highly recommend the beef, tender, succulent and perfectly cooked. The suckling pig is also a specialty, if you've got an appetite! Great service, and fantastic view from the new location. We'll be back again soon.
We had a fantastic experience dining at Cala Luna, we went as a group and we were probably a bit noisy, but it was a great place to enjoy great food, great views and fantastic service. There were eight of us, and between us we covered a big section of the fare, and to a person, the reports were great. This was pleasing to me as I had organised it on the strength of a previous visit. There is a real "fresh" zest about the food, and according to the menu and staff, much of the produce comes from the family's farm at Sutton Forest. But the fact is you can really taste that difference. We have decided to make this a regular event. Thanks Cala Luna!
We lunched at Cala Luna last January & just loved our dining experience. We sat outdoors and enjoyed a degustation meal with accompanying wines. Service was excellent and each course so delicious. We would highly recommend Cala Luna to anyone who is wanting a memorable dining experience....we are certainly planning another with them very soon!
Excellent Location, the view is stunning, romantic, perfect place for you and your better half; The food is excellent, service was great, the staff is very friendly and helpful, knowing before you even asking for anything; Outdoor dining was amazing, even its in winter, my husband and I have been celebrate all our occasions in Cala Luna for the last 5years; we loved this place, if you ask where is the best seafood restaurant in Sydney, I would highly recommend CALA LUNA, both Mosman and North Sydney are the best!!!
Christmas Day, pouring with rain. Our large table on the verandah was well presented and sheltered from the weather. Excellent experience, fast service, the smogasbord was plentyful and the chef charming. We had been frequent customers of the old Cala Luna on Spit Road, and this new venue on the beach is perfect. We'll definitely go back to try the a la carte menu. A lovely experience.
Wonderful environment overlooking the Spit Bridge! Wonderful food, with waiters well-versed and keen to please. Sirloin steak was fabulous, barramundi special perfectly cooked with crispy skin, and delightful carrot soup to whet the palate as a starter. I highly recommend the restaurant, and would like to go back to sample more of the menue.
Anyone with decent taste would know this place is horrendously overpriced and the quality of the cooking is poor. Calamaretti some were under cooked. Quail con Ferro was bland but quail was cooked fine. Linguine allo Scoglio was an absolute disgrace. Bland and the seafood was not fresh. I had better pasta in Koh Phangnan. Filleto di Manzo was undercooked with one piece being rare. The potato were over salted. At least the service and view was good. Would never come here for the food.
I worked in cala Luna restaurant 2 years ago, the food is delicious, Nice quality, the place is amazing! The kitchen is always clean. I have a good memories of this work!I left without saying goodbye because of personal problem. Said junior. ;
Have been there for our Christmas lunch the last 3 years - have had a fabulous lunch each time. Great food, good attentive waiters and beautiful aspect. Perfect for a long lazy lunch. Also allows BYO.
A little costly, but I'm assuming it's the location. Had a couple of martinis and a couple glasses of wine - both quite nice. The food was delicious; garlic bread with tomato and basil, CABLT w/o meat, chips and a risotto primavera. Would go back, for sure.
