We had a beautiful meal for 2 here. The hosts were lovely and the food was authentic. Cannot recommend their baked lamb enough! Good variety of spirits, beer and wine.Thank you for your hospitality and of course we'll be back.
The warm family hand made taste and impressive! Pita bread is one of traditional Greek dishes, and they do really well in the source, Fresh and original taste obtained by the combination of fresh cucumber and yogurt with just the acidity. Satisfactory local specialty lamb. After trying lamb chops and lamb shoulder, I believe their restaurant has a unique flavor of lamb. Prawn pasta is nice and amazing. They also hard working on the restaurant environment, elegant and chic decoration.
Would not recommend for a large group. We were charged $50.00 each, which had to be CASH...so most of us had to go find an ATM in the street which was strange because they had an efpos machine at the bar. It really wasn't worth the value. Presentation was poor, the pictures show how it looked when it come out. The plates where for 4 people to share.
Warm hospitality and some good dishes...the warm hellenic bread was a hit at our table
Second time dining at Zorbas this week. Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff. The food is so reasonably priced and really yummy - it was like a lovely home cooked meal. Great acoustics here too - even with a fair few other diners its not loud like so many other restaurants. this place is my new favourite for a relaxing dinner and catch up with friends. look forward to returning :
Most terrible service and food I ever had in a restaurant Wouldn’t recommend for large groups. We get cold meet, bland salad and potatoes were nice! But not for $50 timing between the entry and the main meal was almost 2 hours, all the elements of the main plate were bring to the table within 20-40min Just because my friend birthday was on otherwise I walk out with in first 20 min in that place What make you take bookings for large amount of people if you don’t have capacity to serve on time even one plate of food? Ahh and please if you walk in there bring some noise cancelling earbuds because the audio and the music is pathetic.
One of my favourite restaurants in Sydney! Love the food, atmosphere and the hosts warm welcome every time we are there.
From the moment I entered Dancing Zorba's, I was welcomed by friendly staff, excellent customer service, fast and efficient. The atmosphere was great, I felt right at home, as if I was back in Greece. The food was absolutely delicious, fresh and traditional Greek cuisine. Thank you to the staff at Dancing Zorba's for a fantastic and memorable experience. I highly recommended this as your next dine in restaurant choice.
Went on Friday night 6:30pm - had the dips platter, marinated octopus, lamb kleftiko, and bougatsa for dessert. Everything was very tasty and reasonably priced even aside from use of entertainment book voucher. I really enjoyed the octopus while my partner enjoyed the lamb, we both were fans of the dessert as well. Atmosphere was very comfortable - nicely set up and easy to hear even though it was moderately packed. Service was fantastic - person who served us was always very polite, patient and knowledgeable about the menu. We accidentally ordered still water instead of tap but, upon notifying her, she immediately waived it. Thank you :
Use to be regulars at this restaurant but not many more. Portion sizes getting smaller everytime we go. Very stingy! Not everything they have on the menu is available to order which is annoying. Most of all, the Greek authenticity has changed. Don't change your food to suit your clientele because of the area!. Keep your tradition in cooking exactly that... Greek food. I've been to many Greek restaurants and why this used to be my favourite restaurant was of the rustic style of cooking. What I experienced tonight I could cook better at home. What a shame...
