Our Story
CrossFit Barwon is not like your ordinary gym. It is a diverse community that includes students, lawyers, health professionals, desk jockeys and IT gurus, sports nuts, tradies and full-time and working parents all striving to live a healthier live and be the best they can. We don’t do memberships cards, you are not a number, and everyone is welcomed and introduced. Community doesn’t stop at the gym, all our members know each other, support one and other and socialize in and out of the gym. Every workout is scaled to your abilities, so no one is left out and everyone has the chance to excel, regardless of where they begin. You can go toe to toe with your best mate or your daughter or granddaughter.

World-Class Fitness in 100 Words:
Eat meat and vegetables, nuts and seeds, some fruit, little starch and no sugar. Keep intake to levels that will support exercise but not body fat.
Practice and train major lifts: Deadlift, clean, squat, presses, C&J, and snatch.
Similarly, master the basics of gymnastics: pull-ups, dips, rope climb, push-ups, sit-ups, presses to handstand, pirouettes, flips, splits, and holds.
Bike, run, swim, row, etc, hard and fast.
Five or six days per week mix these elements in as many combinations and patterns as creativity will allow. Routine is the enemy. Keep workouts short and intense.
Regularly learn and play new sports.

Then CrossFit is for YOU. Our classes take place at our iconic riverside warehouse in South Geelong. Every workout is different, and since you will rarely do the same thing twice, you are less likely to lose interest or get bored than if you were doing the same circuits at the gym three days a week. Because our workouts from warm up to warm down last only an hour they can fit into your life regardless of how busy you are. Mostly importantly our members have seen dramatic changes in their speed, strength, performance, and body composition. And before you even ask ladies, you will not end up looking like Arnie, you will be stronger and you will be able to out lift your partner, but you will not bulk up.

Our Coach
CrossFit differs from your typical gym, in that you don’t just sweat (or not sweat) all over the machines and leave. At CFB all of the workouts are coached and proper technique is taught and highly emphasised. Our coach is not your typical gym-style personal trainer – Dudley is dedicated to helping each client achieve and exceed their fitness goals through ongoing study, research and commitment.
