12 treadmills and only 4 working. That place sucks. You are paying a membership for nothing. I always have to wait. That's why they do the very low memberships they don't want to fix anything low quality gym
Update 25/02/2025: Have now altered their opening hours to 6:00am-10:00pm Mon-Fri, 8:00am-5:00pm Sat-SunnMay as well change your name to Derrimut Not 24/7 Gym.nnUpdate 15/01/2025: I'm delighted to see that instead of having the second water fountain in the gym repaired after more than a year of it being broken, we have a brand new vending machine full of $3.50 Mount Franklins next to the water fountains. Unbelievable.nEven the most basic newbie gym goers bring their own water bottle, which is why not many people buy water from the fridge at the front counter. So I can't wrap my head around why having another vending machine is more of a priority than fixing the second water fountain to reduce queues for people trying to refill their bottle. What are you gonna do when the one that works decides to break? Are we just going to have to buy Mount Franklins for a year while both fountains sit there with a rubbish bag around it?nnPlace sucks. I'm not ripping on the staff that works there, this should be a message to head office. Listen to all of these recent complaints and fix your bloody gym. Give us working treadmills. Sort out the fans in this place so they actually point to the equipment we're using. I have been complaining for A YEAR that the fan between the stairmasters and treadmills no longer rotates to either equipment, it just points down the walk way and doesn't benefit anyone using those machines. Nothing has been done about it, nothing gets done about other broken equipment, yet my membership goes up nearly double the price recently. I don't want to find a new gym but you're giving me no other option.
Prime value for money- I’m currently paying $3.81/wk. This Derrimut may not have the basketball court and pools etc, but the staff are incredible and Ive forgotten my AirPods out in the open for half a day and no one stole them and you can make eye contact with people without worrying about getting in a fight. It gets busy but I rate this place. Fans and treadmills are all fixed again which is good cos it gets warm in here
Pretty disappointing that the hours have changed significantly without much consultation and notice to customers.nnCoupled with some equipment that’s often out of order including the front door at present and one of the two water fountains being out of order for over a year, now being replaced with a vending machine selling mount franklin water bottles for $3.50 a pop, it’s no wonder that so many customers are disappointed and feeling ripped off.
Been looking for a decent gym in years and finally I found it! Excellent clean and modern with great music and high quality gym machines throughout. Price for annual membership is much more affordable than other competitors. They also have a separate women’s gym with all the equipment you need, sauna and great classes. Friendly staff and they also sell food and apparel.
