First time experience. Walkable from my home, easy to find. My pre-reserved and pre-paid reserved vehicle was not available, but the vehicle provided to me was just as good; I'm still not clear, however, on whether there was a different charge. I didn't receive a rental agreement to carry with me in the car, and no one came out to inspect the vehicle with me before I left, which was a bit worrying. Still, friendly staff and easy reservation process. I'll use this location again.
When I book a car I expect as had been informed the driver would be waiting with a sign with my name on it in arrival hall instead I had to go looking for him and when I could not find him had to call him I then had to go find gate number 6 and find him outside at his car not exceptional service
Driver did not show up for the prepaid service. Also did not answer the phone or call back. I called the Head office and they put down the phone. Called again and was transferred to a random guy. Unbelievable. 1 star is way too much.
They did not do a vehicle inspection with us prior to giving us the keys and there do happen to be pre-existing damage to the tire rim not easily noticed. However when returning the car this man pulls his phone out doing a very detailed inspection and points out the damage as if we did it. Very tricky and not professional, we were on vacations for they are trying to tell us we did the damage however we barely drove the vehicle and under no circumstances scratched up random places on the tire rims. Must be something they do to Americans visiting their country, not at all necessary. They should be consistent and ensure the process is mirrored prior to releasing a vehicle and having it returned.

I had a terrible experience with Sixt - France First with the reservation online and then with customer service. The destination of my drop-off was changed automatically during my pre-paid reservation online. I basically lost 175 euros with one click. Be careful the sixt website is very misleading. It is hard to get it right the first time! Customer service is lousy. You're basically not a customer but a number. Rent somewhere else.
Pathetic organisation. Disorganised as usual. Require a ridiculous deposit that takes weeks to get reimbursed. The office was closed when we tried to return our car! We were told to park it in an adjacent street and put the keys through the letterbox After all kinds of confusion we met a representative in the street who took the keys from us. They did not examine the car for damage. A complete shambles. When i rented a car in New York it was covered in bird excrement, had visible signs of damage they did not point out. I would not recommend this company to anyone!
I've used sixt in other places and it was good. But here, they cancelled our reservation for no reason and without calling us, so when we arrived we didn't have a car ready. And now we are going to be late getting to our friend's wedding. Merci bien, SIXT.
