Great staff that deal with just about every personality. Great sense of humour and always try and accommodate. Save people from being on the street which is always a bonus with support from government agencies. They have alot of patience and are pretty good with personal space and nutbags like me. If you can handle my attitude and loudness you pretty much set in life. Love the staff
DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACEnnMy family, my dog, and I booked a five-night stay at this place, and we were in the hotel for no more than 30 minutes before checking out. The rooms are in serious need of refurbishment, and so are the bathrooms. We had a non-smoking room; however, when we entered, it reeked of cigarettes.nThere were no proper locks on the doors other than a chain lock, which was also half broken.nFurthermore, the people staying at the establishment were concerning. There were people smoking around the area, and there were also drunk individuals roaming around the premises. Our family did not feel safe, especially with two children.nTo make matters worse, a man approached me in the parking lot and asked my children to come to his room, offering them drinks. We politely declined, and he left. However, less than 10 minutes later, he came banging on our hotel room door, demanding that my children come and play games with him and that he would “give me dinner” as well. We immediately booked another hotel and left.nWe were only charged for one night, and the rest was refunded. The staff also informed us that they had called the police; however, when we questioned them about what happened to the guest, they gave vague answers.nnIf you are travelling with your family or even staying by yourself, DO NOT BOOK THIS PLACE UNDER ANY CIRCUMSTANCES.
Room very clean, comfortable bed and walking distance to restaurants, park and shopping centre. Reasonably priced in comparison to other hotel/motels Perfect for us for one night and not far from Hallam industrial area.
I would strongly advise anyone to avoid staying at this property.nWe stayed at Comfort Inn Dandenong from 6–8 March Room 136 with our young child, and the experience was completely unacceptable — both from a safety and hygiene perspective.nFrom the moment we arrived, the environment felt unsafe. There were individuals loitering around the premises who appeared to be under the influence, an altercation occurring at reception, and an overall atmosphere that was not suitable for families. At one point we were approached by a woman making explicit comments in front of our child, which was extremely distressing.nThroughout the evening we were subjected to ongoing disturbances including shouting, door slamming, and people knocking on our door. We did not feel safe leaving the room and were effectively confined for our own safety.nThe room itself was in poor condition and did not reflect what was advertised. It smelt strongly of urine and cigarettes, the carpet was dirty and damaged, the bedding was stained, and the door lock appeared insecure — which only added to the safety concerns.nWe raised these issues with staff, however no meaningful resolution was provided. Since then, we have attempted to resolve the matter directly with the business, including formally requesting a full refund, but have been ignored.nThis was not a minor inconvenience — it was a genuinely unsafe and unsanitary environment, particularly concerning given we were travelling with a child.nWe have since escalated the matter through Consumer Affairs Victoria and other appropriate channels.nI would not recommend this property under any circumstances.
Staff were lovely, room was ordinary but tidy , there was a dead spider in my kettle so I skipped the coffee,the pool is now a garden,the restraint has shut down,non arrival had a clearly intoxicated drug effected guy staggering round the car park,had yelling arguments through the night, someone trying to kick the door in a couple of doors down ,a man asked me to come in to his room late at night while I was out side my room having a smoke,a dog locked in a room barking and crying for ages until a staff member let it out for another occupant to look after due to the disturbance it caused, a guy standing at the door of there room naked while his girlfriend gives me her life story,they were one of the many homeless living at the hotel and a lady screaming and crying hysterically up stairs as we were about to leave,it sounded horrific ,I left a day early as I feel this is not a good or safe place for my self and my children to be staying,I was not offered a refund for the second night despite my sercumstace for leaving early and being out before 10am,I would not recommend this place to anyone as a good place to stay due to the people living there and the environment,it's not safe,
