Don't come here expecting a modern luxury hotel. What you should expect is a friendly, clean, basic hotel with loads of character in the centre of a vibrant historic precinct. Not a huge amount of nightlife for the rave/disco/clubbing set but lots of live music and local colour. The hotel itself is Victorian so plumbing and electricity are modern additions rather than built into the original fabric. Great value for money and, if you appreciate history, a fantastic place to stay.

I had a pizza here and it was very over done, the dining area is warm and comfortable though

Stopped in for a a drink in a burger both as very nice dinner stay the night but the burger and beer was absolutely fantastic huge meal for a very cheap price I would go there again no problems at all his exs however if you're in a wheelchair might be hard to get around well worth it though stuff for a very friendly and service was very good

I had the pork belly burger, the pork was tender but needed an apple sce/chutney to compliment the pork, On the whole I thought the meal portion was rather slight as I was still feeling a little hungry after. I would have second thoughts on going back again ☹
