The entire experience of purchasing my first car was very pleasant and the staff were lovely, up until the day I actually took the vehicle home. I was promised the car would be detailed, which it was not, evident by several details which a professional detailer would have noticed. Furthermore I was promised a full tank of fuel, when we came to drive away we noticed the Petrol gauge was 3/4 empty. To their credit though, they fuelled it up for me after we pointed this out, but regardless this should have been done without us needing to chase it up as it was in the contract. I was also told I would receive a follow up phone call within 3 days due to the return policy, never heard back from them. When I first enquired about the car I got a reply at 8am the next business day, whereas once the purchase was made I tried contacting the dealer who sold it to me on Friday afternoon and he did not get back to me until Tuesday, his reply being very abrupt, in a “end-of-communications” manner and not addressing my question at all.
