This dog friendly dessert and cocktail venue is great. Amongst the cow udder lighting, ambient neon lighting and cute bar, we found ourselves seated on the lounge area. The table wasn’t wiped down and had chocolate drips. We were surrounded by other large and noisy groups, but for a busy Friday night, it was expected. Our cocktails were very entertaining however they weren’t as tasty as we thought they would be however some may enjoy them because of their potency in alcohol and taste. Presentation was definitely on point. The staff were very friendly and casual. The service was slow but again it was very busy. Their menu is extensive, there was so much to choose from but we shared the grazing platter which was a mix of everything. We would choose ice cream based desserts next time and probably get hot chocolate and coffee instead of cocktails. It may also have been the wrong night to come as it was extremely busy. NB:Please bring back the ice cream puffs from 2015! I added the photos we took from back then too because the udder dessert was amazing!
Cowch is located on the main street in South Bank so it's easy to find. It's a cute place with so many dessert options, you can even create your own dessert. They also have vegan, gluten free, dairy free and egg free options available. We had the Crunchy Caramel Sundae Bowl and it was delicious! Although I would not complain if there was a little bit more caramel sauce Huge dessert so we shared one. Would definitely recommend!
This was a great experience. We enjoyed being able to play music we enjoyed through the system. The food was beautiful and the staff was friendly. Would have preferred drinks before food, but seriously, it was great!
Wide range of desserts that were mostly good. Food was presented well, tasted good and service was OK. Prices were a bit high. Seating arrangements were a bit unusual. Overall a good experience but not my cup of tea.
One of the best desserts and cocktails! The place is very nice and cute, they have a wide variety of desserts and of course vegan options, in addition, they take food allergies into consideration, so you can go to the desk and let them know so they can show you other options. The cocktails are delicious as well as the mocktails, both are decorated very nicely, perfect for a photo! We ate “Choc vegan Sunday”, “Vegan Choc Cake” and “Vegan Vanilla Cake”. To drink the “Passionfruit Punch” cocktail and the “Unicorn Lemonade” mocktail Highly recommended!
I visited the café three times, each time the dessert was very good, the hot chocolate, but unfortunately the flat white each time was so bad that I couldn't finish the cup. I think it is important in the café to taste the coffee before anything else. I hope he gets better because he is the best in sweets.
Had a great experience here! I bought a choc mint milkshake and a crunchy caramel sundae. They were sweet and flavourful but not sickly sweet. Staff were friendly, great atmosphere. Kind of expensive, the sundae was $20 but once in a while is fine.
Such a good place to go to for a treat! Lots to choose from on the menu. The share plate is a good idea to try, the icecream sundaes are also pretty big so recommend to share those. I loved the fairy floss too!
Hubby and I came here on Friday night as a lil pre-vday date as we were in town for the night to see Ben Harper at QPAC Concert Hall yes, he was awesome as always if you're wondering haha. I think this was hubby's first dine in cowch experience. I myself have been 2-3 times before. Chermside is the closest cowch to us but I'm in the city more than Chermside. I love the ambience. The hanging udders from the ceiling are hilariously cute. We're not drinkers of alcohol so the bar wasn't much of an attraction like the food is We ordered the Fruit Tingle Waffles, Mango Frappe although it doesn't come with any whipped cream or drizzle? & Deluxe Hot Choc takeaway. All of it was delish and I would hands down order again. The deluxe hot choc came with forgotten whipped cream and marshmallows but they happily did it when I notified them. The mango passionfruit white choc combo was really yummy on the waffles. Hubby enjoyed his mango frappe. I threw up a bunch of songs too on their playlist chart that's on their wall, that's cool. The music shows up on the TV's and you hear it in the restaurant. Friendly staff. Was given glasses and table water. Bummed they don't do the loyalty app anymore. Look forward to my next visit.
This place is AWESOME!! Monica was AMAZING and she helped me pick out the sticky date cake which literally melted in my mouth! I also added the rainbow salted caramel gelato and it was like nothing I’ve ever tasted the texture was perfect! Thanks so much for making my day! I’m here from the States and this by far is my favorite spot in Australia!!
