We stopped on our way to Blengeim, we got hot chips for a quick ligjt lunch ... easy to pull in off the road, lots of seating space, food is cooked fresh, there are love lobsters in a tank There are public toilets outside and also outside seating. They off Chinese food and Fish n Chips. Good experience, fast, cheap and easy. Vegetarian options: Vege options Kid-friendliness: Child friendly and food allergy options available. Parking: Lots and easy Wheelchair accessibility: Space for a wheelchair car and entrance Dietary restrictions: Gluten free options available just need to ask
I got combination chowmein. $18.50. There was 1 prawn, some beef, bbq pork and chicken with a ton of broccoli and what looked like spaghetti noodles. Not the usual dry noodles. Plenty of parking, good service. The shop is quite run down. I wouldn’t stop here to buy dinner again
After 20 minutes of waiting we asked how much longer it was going to be, they said “we have only just put the chips down and haven’t done the fish yet and it would be another 7 minutes” we then decided to get our money back and just leave because waiting 27 minutes for fish and chips is ridiculous. I could understand if it was busy but when we ordered there was no other customers in there and only a few had come in after us. Won’t be stopping to get dinner at this place again also clearly the children that work their sneak a lot of the food.
Not bad. We had fish and chips. Fish was a bit soggy, but tasty all the same. Crinkle cut chips were nice. Won't be the worse, but you've had better.Food: 4/5
Terrible service, lady serving us was very rude. Ordered a hoki fish and literally got one out of a supermarket frozen Sealord fish box. Hotdogs were very small and still frozen in the middle. Luckily the night and day next door was great!
Great fish and chips. Set off the road a bit so parking not a problem generally. Not sure about eating in. Don't be deceived by the appearance because food is really good. If toilets are locked just ask for the key!
There not one good place for fish and chips in Kaikoura the so called Seafood Capital. This is probably the most bearable although... Chips were over cooked, hot dogs and sausages were undercooked. Average price and some old, depressed looking Crays in a tiny, dirty tank.
Terrible customer service. The waitress’s attitude is very terrible. Before we could finish ordering, she went off to serve others and ignored us. Racially discriminatory services. Not recommended at all. Bad experience.
Yummy food, had both the Chinese and fish and chips. Def recommend Kid-friendliness: Lots of options Parking: Heaps out front
I caught some crayfish and blue cods after going fishing woth local kiwi fishmen and let this restaurant cooked them for us. Every crayfish took 25 dollars service-fee. They could cook in two different waysstew or make it into porridge. Both are very very very deliciousStewed fish is also gorgeous I would never forget this meal and will come back soon
