One of the employees that goes by the name August gives off a creepy vibe and makes others uncomfortable. He looks like the type of person who'd sit in playgrounds looking at the children. He disgusts me. The nasty stench that he reeks of is so unbearable that it makes me wonder: does he even shower? His presence in the store feels sickening and it has made my experience shopping there completely miserable.
Sadly we learn that the butchers shop is closing. It is replaced by massively overpackaged individual pieces of meat. You can't ask for what you want. I thought packaging was being reduced. This is overkill in the wrong direction. We won't buy meat this way, and it means we will gonto the WW store down the road? Where we now also buy our other groceries.. In chatting with our friends, they will also shop elsewhere now.nWe liked the store, but the elimination of choice plus ridiculous overpackaging is too much
As far as supermarkets go it quite decent, well stocked, conveniently located in the centre. Minimal wait times at the checkouts.
Last week, the cost of an avocado was $2.90. Yesterday it has risen in price to $3.50 and marked as a special. I know the ACCC is a toothless tiger and that nothing will eventuate from their enquiry into the supermarket oligopoly, but such a blatant disrespect and disregard for your customers is, frankly, shameful.
Good supermarket with a good selection of fresh produce, baked goods and most grocery items. Like most chain supermarkets hard to find staff when you need help but in terms of quality this is one of the better Coles I have been to. Parking is also plentiful and easy to get to.
