I usually seek out the very helpful and knowledgeable old Scot when I shop for gardening stuff here but he was busy with someone else so I got a very young, too cool for school, energy drink slurping boy today. He tried his best he really did but he wasn't particularly interested or friendly so I had to figure it out for myself. Which is fine but definitely lacking the personal touch you get with the other chap. With him I always learn something new about gardening.

Honestly, you are much better off going to a smaller store where you can find staff to help you and who know what they are talking about. Spent the morning looking for a special type of nail. Was sent to 3 different aisles with no luck. Noone will take time to help you as they are all too busy. Staff in the paint section seem to try to avoid customers as a game. Very poor service in this place.

It's a Bunnings. They're like an adult toy store. Just do what I do when it comes to actually requiring customer assistance: Call them from WITHIN the store. Far more effective than vainly trying to find their staff to help you lol.

Every time I come here, I find the customer service extremely appalling. Some Bunnings person at the entrance saying “Hi, how’s your day?” Isn’t useful to me in anyway when he/she or no one else inside cares to assist me. They do not require to get to know how my day is when they don’t genuinly care, their job is to help me in regards to choosing the items I am needing to purchase. If they want to ask about my day, then care to assist me as well! There are always alot of staff on the floors and not many on the registers. The ones on the floor, they seem to always walk away or keep themselves looking as if they are doing anything else. Generally at the end of my long search trying to find the correct items I need, on my own, I may stumble upon a nice older man that works there that is willing to genuinely seem to care to actually help. Also, that knows what they are talking about as the young ones don’t and never ever approach. It actually makes me feel like I’m burdenning then now just to ask a question. Improvement on their customer service, would be ideal and wonderful. Just to see them show some real interest to help a customer with a genuine show of interest instead of it seeming that they are only there waiting for the hours to go so they can go home.

Renovating house and was buying timber, tools etc. I experienced a ridiculous service, staff and help impossible to get hold of. It ended up in late (of course, paid upfront) delivery which put the project on hold with $1000s in loss. All that mixed with many inexperienced young staff members on the floor, (literally running away from the customers pretending to be busy) resulted in a pathetic experience.. will think twice before going to this Bunnings again
