Great that it has plenty of rooftop car parking! The store is on the small side so not all items are stocked here. Plenty of self serve checkouts so usually no queues
Angelo is great.nEDIT Sept 2025: Reno's underwaynLooks like a bit is going on. Floor ripped up. Ceiling tiles missing....nShould freshen up nicely.nCannot wait.nnWell stocked. Busy. Lots of team members.
My encounter with Rona at Coles was less “grocery shopping” and more “trial by fire.” I asked her, very politely, where the eggs were. Instead of pointing me in the right direction like any halfway functioning employee, she stared at me with the cold, dead eyes of someone who had just been asked to donate a kidney. Then she muttered, “If you can’t find eggs in a supermarket, maybe you shouldn’t be shopping.” I actually stood there for a second, stunned, wondering if I’d accidentally wandered into a comedy sketch.nBut it didn’t stop there. At the checkout, Rona slammed my items across the scanner as though each one had personally offended her. The bread? Crushed flat like a pancake. The bananas? Launched down the belt like she was competing in some Olympic shot-put event. At one point she held up my milk, inspected it with disgust, and loudly announced, “This brand is terrible, but whatever, it’s your money.” The other customers looked around like we were all in on some twisted reality show.nWhen I finally escaped, receipt in hand, I realized the horror show wasn’t over: Rona had deliberately double-charged me for carrots. CARROTS. Was this her act of revenge because I dared to need groceries on her shift? It takes a special kind of creativity to weaponize vegetables.nColes, you need to understand something: Rona isn’t just bad at customer service. She is a villain straight out of a Dickens novel, haunting the aisles with bitterness and rage. If the company truly values its customers, they’ll bronze her name tag and hang it in the break room as a warning to future staff: This is what happens when you treat customers like enemies.nShopping should not feel like psychological warfare, but with Rona, it does. Consider this my official retirement from ever stepping foot in that Coles again.
Was in Melbourne for a work matter and ducked into this Coles pretty late. Staff were really decent about it — they were packing down but still let me finish my shop without the hard stare to hurry up. One of them pointed me to what I needed I had no clue where anything was. Checkout was quick, no dramas. Tidy store for that time of night too. Cheers.
1. From outside not so big, and wrong expectation, inside so big.n2. Selling retail product, like housing need untill food.n3. For staff and employee so helpful.n4. All look so clean and tidy, KEEP IT!n5. For price, still make sense.
