A great place to eat, drink and just be, seven am has proudly been serving the Port Melbourne locals for nearly 8 years with superb coffee, tasty hearty food and great, friendly service.

Story

Since our doors first opened almost 8 years ago, we at seven:am have worked hard to provide Port Melbourne locals with a great place to eat, drink and just be. Nestled in a cosy space on busy Bay Street, seven:am serves up delicious coffee, tasty all-day breakfast, fresh juices and artisan teas, seven days a week.
Our head chef seeks out the finest local produce to devise a delicious menu and ever-changing list of specials, while our team of skilled baristas keeps the coffee machine humming.
Drop in for a quick, delicious takeaway coffee on your way to work, or while away mellow weekends over brunch with friends. Jase and the friendly, professional team will be delighted to look after you.

My partner and I are regulars here most weeks. The staff are lovely, the coffee is good and the food is always new and exciting. The menu seems to change every 6 months or so, so there's always something new and delicious to try.

food is average for the price you pay. the toast they gave was too thick and hard to eat. just need simple toast nothing fancy. Also the baked beans they had was more of mixed beans with also garlic. in the morning people dont want to end up with bad breath. Garlic is a No No at breakfast. just simple baked beans out of the tin would be better. making it fancy and complicated does not help. simple is best.

Walked in, sat down. It wasn't busy so I waited, waited, others entered got served so I waited a bit more, I tried to attract attention of waitress but apparently I was invisible. After 15 mins I left. Unforgivable. Won't go back which is a pity because I live 100 metres away.

We sometimes go for coffee here but we are so spoilt for choice in port Melbourne we have others that we prefer. Still good.

Went there for lunch as It has such high ratings, good reviews and close to work. Good coffee but food was just OK. I always have higher expectations when a restaurant/ cafe has more than 4 stars. Very friendly staff which is always a huge bonus
