Melbourne Bakehouse

There are fewer and fewer places like this in Melbourne where they'll make you up a fresh sandwich or roll to order that isn't full of overly fancy fillings. Cheese and salad, egg mayo, tuna, ham/cheese/tomato - take your pick, they've got it. Plus they do a good coffee and there are plenty of cakes and tarts for dessert. You will also get change from a tenner if you order a simple cheese salad roll and coffee - a rare thing indeed!

Nick and family make you feel right at home. Dog friendly excellent coffee great food and friendly staff make this a must visit when you are in Port Melbourne.

It is unacceptable in this day and age to run a cash only business, but even worse when you are directed to a store ATM with a $2.80 service fee. To be fair, your product was top quality and the staff were lovely, but in future I find somewhere else to buy my lunch.

A nice family business that takes pride. It's a great alternative to run of the mill bakeries, it's not just a bakery, it's also a restaurant, they make some great rolls here and the coffee is pretty good.
