Clean and food well presented. Wait time at checkout is usually very short. Perfect for last minute grocery shopping as well as big ones as we can find everything we need for the week.

We bought a cooked chicken for dinner and after a few of us had eaten some one of my daughters noticed tiny maggots crawling through the meat. Took it back and was advised by Anna the deli manager that had a similar issue last year. I had to ask for a refund and was advised over the phone by an area manager the following day that a full investigation had been carried out and that they found themselves not to be at fault. The chicken was kept in its display bag and opened up three hours after buying it. Maggots hatch from eggs after 8-20 hours in hot temps, meaning that the eggs were laid on the chicken in the store.

Berwick Parkhill is the worst of all Coles. Iut of date, nothing on the shelfs, no Devondale milk or butter, no staff, and no registers open.
