The facility and staff was all nice but funny story: I had a heart irregularity and went to see my GP there, I weighed 58kg and am 158cm tall, she said I was too fat for my size and that was the cause of it. Think of it now I felt like I should’ve filed a complaint at the spot. It’s been three years and now I feel comfortable sharing it here, just so you know
Been going to this clinic for over 10 years but because I haven't been in a while I'm considered a new patient and "none of their doctors are taking new patients". Ridiculous.
Really disappointing, recently have not been happy with the service at reception. My partner who has seen an older doctor there regularly post craniotomy brain surgery to remove a tumour had a seizure last week that landed him in emergency. I called and explained the situation, and that emergency had sent a letter to said doctor for follow up/correspondence only to be told the earliest time was 3 weeks away, and I proceeded to call early morning everyday leading up, with short snappy remarks like “nothing available today, I can’t help you… bye” and “we will call you bye”. No people skills, nor could any of the receptionists hold a conversation. Plus, I can near assure you that had my partners doctor known about this situation and the receptionist actually communicated it to him as per my request, he would’ve got him in earlier. Instead, they were dismissive and at the best of times very rude. My partner loves his old doctor, and will continue to see him as he is very good and thorough - but if you want service, don’t go here. Let’s hope they actually call, you can’t tell me that in a week not one person cancelled… seems odd to me!
Receptionist isnt that friendly, charge is a bit high for insurer to cover. But my GP is great so I’ll give it 4 stars still
Reception is dry, rude with ZERO compassion. I must say the Drs have always been good though. But then we come to the dental clinic there... The girls at Reception are just beautiful, friendly, polite happy and understanding. The actual dentist on the other hand...OMG!! HE could not be more rude if he tried. I had a wisdom tooth removed, fine, but then went back two days later to have a piece of very sharp tooth or bone, that he missed, removed. He was SO extraordinarily rude! He stuck his finger in my mouth, gave me a MIRROR to look at what he was lecturing me on, told me it was because I smoke which I have not for three years told me it's still healing, basically pushed me out of the chair and down the hallway with a bottle of mouth wash in my hand. A week later I STILL HAVE that sharp piece of tooth sticking out of my gum and i can't eat or even swallow without severe pain, am losing weight and sleep, which definitely is not something I need to be doing! Never will I ever return to see this arrogant rude so called professional. Now having to take MORE time off work, which is highly inconvenient as we are short staffed, all because he failed to do his job!! I'm disgusted and dissatisfied with this service. And have lost all confidence in them. My advice go to the city or Newtown and see someone that still has a decent bedside manner and likes their job. If that fails do it yourself, it'll be less traumatic
I have been visiting this practice since it was known as Clarence, prior to the renovations, years ago. The doctor's have always been extremely helpful, supportive & professional. The receptionist are always very polite & professional, too, despite usually being extremely busy. I always recommend the Super Clinic!
Couldn't send script to pharmacy, kept on hold for a long time. Went to pharmacy 3 times, Megan wasn't helpful, put on hold again and again. Tried to give her ways to do it by email or e script but only wanted to send by fax.
If can put up with the incompetents of the front desk, then this is a great place to go. My only problem is that the patients have to call to confirm appointments, I have never heard of this before. I have been very courtious even when I was asked to reschedule my appointment because the nurse was sick, only to find out that my rescheduled appointment hadn't even been booked, but clearly this is not as important as a customer calling to confirm an appointment, and you have to make sure you drop everything, including making sure you set your alarm to wake up early in the morning after a night filled with high anxiety, just to make a phone call. I already have complex ptsd, depression and anxiety, the last place I expect to trigger me is a clinic.
Extremely unprofessional, and confusing? Almost two years after I'd had any form of check up or contact with them, I was rang by a nurse of my GP, who said that my GP had a health plan for me to follow, and want's me to come in. I told her I hadn't seen the doctor in over a year and a bit and wouldn't need anything like that, she rang me back multiple times before telling me my DP won't see me anymore. Like what???
This is the worst clinic ever. I rang on a Monday morning at 8.30am and was told that they were fully booked! I had to make an absolute fuss as I was in quite a lot of pain to get an appointment, then the doctor that I saw was as least 80 years old and I had to tell him what was wrong and what medication I needed. Rang yesterday to try and get an appointment with my doctor, again same story, fully booked and they could only offer me an appointment 11 days away!
