The stars are for the doctors', some of whom are really nice. The front desk service is terrible, in particular, the older receptionist. Never has a smile on her face, frowns if you ask her a question and always rude. Never makes you feel welcome. Only go there for the student discount, otherwise would not be going back.
I would not go here if you paid me. The receptionist is so mean and rude that I am amazed she has a job still. The Drs are great but I will never go back simply because of her mean. arrogant attitude. 1 Star is just cos the dr is so great. If we could rate the idiot at the front counter it would be a minus 10. Digsraceful!
I quite like the doctor I have here, he's very generous with his time, he's knowledgable, and he's a genuinely nice guy, but I agree with all other reviewers: the receptionists are the most miserable human beings you'll ever meet. Both disinterested and condescending, and very rude overall. The only reason I go back is because I like my doctor so much.
Terrible service, disgusting human being. I have never experienced such an uncaring, unprofessional and dense human being in my life. This sorry excuse for a receptionist adopts the vapid view that the clinics policy is public knowledge and information that has been and should be internalised by all. I walked in requesting for a consultation with the doctor but was rudely pushed away on the basis that I needed an appointment. I do not dispute their policy however warped it may be but I genuinely feel her tone and personality needs to be kept in checked. She lamented Infront of patients that she needed a new job and that she hated it. Please someone put her out of her 'misery' and give her an early retirement. please spare the students, we do not deserve such horrendous and insensitive individual to meet our healthcare needs
My husband and i called at 10.40am and booked an appointment each here last week for 11.15am the same day. The receptionist told us it was in Hobart so we were confused when we could not find the address. We again called to double check that we were looking in the right place and were told again, HOBART. Turns out it is actually in Sandy Bay and we missed the appointments and now both apparently owe a $30 fee for not attending the appointment we booked only 35 minutes prior? How absolutely ridiculous. Absolute idiodic staff here. When booking, there were no mention of any fees whatsoever and due to the circumstances, they should never have even been sent out. We were on the phone to the receptionist when we missed out appointment and she was just rude and could not care less. Total money making scheme. In the meantime, i almost died of aspiration pneumonia and was rushed to hospital. Apparently me not being able to breathe mentioned on the phone when making the appointment should have had you sending me straight to the hospital instead of the huge stuff around. I would go so far as to say that staff here are medically negligent.
the one star i've given is for the doctors, about the reception is absolutely worst i have ever meet, cant even imagine how they get this job, not matter the younger lady or the older one, they all have terrible attitude. no wonder why their reviews are soooo bad, certainly i'm not the only one feel in this way. do not come here if you have any other choice, those receptions can absolutely ruin your day.
The receptionist’s customer service is pure trash. Disrespecting clients. Arrogant hand gestures. I literally walked in to ask if there’s any spaces, she raised her palm to me. And told me there’s nothing for me without an appointment. I’m only asking nicely. And she’s decided to give such bad attitude to clients who are sick? Get her fired man.
Today the receptionist treated me horribly, made me cry, then refused to book me an appointment. I tried to explain my situation, she was uncaring, imcompassionate and totally unprofessional for her line of work. The doctor I have is wonderfull and the only helpful one I’ve had in a long time, but I’m afraid to go back there.
Are the receptionists here trained to treat people bad? I’ve been here 4 times and never been greeted and simply ignored like I was invisible. And when you go up to them they cut you off saying I’m busy pls wait! Give them more breaks people. They are clearly unhappy about something at all times! Highly disappointed!
I am unsurprised to see that I am not alone in feeling belittled by the receptionist at this clinic, my experience echos what has already been written in regards to the poor quality in admin staff. I know that i have put off making a follow up appointment at the clinic because of her awful demeanour and i'm sure I am not alone.
