The City Oval Hotel has a long history as a warm and friendly destination for travellers and locals alike. Had the seafood basket, calamari was like rubber, fish was dry and whole unpeeled prawns were served... what am I meant to do with those? Very overpriced, won't be back. Told the owner and he even shrugged it off

One of only a few places where you can actually have a beer at the bar and a chat with a real publican. Great meals and brilliant service every time we have been. Best Parma and steak around!
