Friendly staff, fast service, and great outdoor seating make this McDonald’s a standout. We had two 5-piece McWings meals with drinks and a McPop. Everything was fresh and tasty. The matcha latte was the star: perfectly balanced with that sweet-bitter aftertaste real matcha should have, unlike other brands that are overly sweet. Highly recommend!
Very busy Ballarat Maccas with plenty of drive-through customers lined up at Christmas time. Staff were going at a fast pace. However I was just passing by Ballarat on the train and had an hour or two to spare so went to McDonalds and it took quite a while to order and even get a staff member's attention for a quick dine in meal at least 5-10 minutes, possibly longer. Pretty much the focus for staff was entirely on vehicles driving through! But I guess somewhat understandable at this busy time of 2025! I did enjoy though seeing many of the magnifent Xmas decorations in the Main street. Worth the train stopover for sure. Quite a few international tourists about as well and overall felt pretty safe at this time of the night c 10pm.
Absolutely shocking on what they've done to the McDonald's. Annoying how you can't even go to the toilet without having to ask someone at the counter to open the door. And it takes ages for someone to actually serve you. The toilet was filthy so couldn't even use it. The food also took ages to even come out which made the food cold. Felt bad for one of the workers who didn't even know how to do the drinks..nnAnd they expect you to order online or use the self serve machines? Absolutely ridiculous.. miss the old days when the workers knew what to do, you ordered with someone and it actually looked like a fun place to come to. Now the building looks like a depressed adult.. All McDonald's now look not nice and some of the workers don't even know what they are doing.... The 90s were better.
Really hot and good food. Came through drive thru at 9:30 to order the breakfast menu. Staff were attentive and polite, barely a wait on our food and the bag came with napkins and everything was presented well. Good job Sturt street maccas :
The service was decent, albeit a little slow to receive our food. Ordered an add on to an item but didn't receive it. Friendly staff, plenty of parking and clean restaurant.
