The service was decent, albeit a little slow to receive our food. Ordered an add on to an item but didn't receive it. Friendly staff, plenty of parking and clean restaurant.
Well of the 7 times I've attended here I've only been served 3 times. While I can't speak too much to the day time goings of the restaurant, if you're a night worker, late time travellor or general night owl then I definitely wouldn't consider this place, cause even though it claims to be 24 hours, it actually is quite different. But if you're someone on the hunt for some good excuses to get out of work then I guess this is your ideal place! Where you can experience a range of reasons from the classic: our system is currently updating, to the slightly more complex: we've had a system failure and we're on the phone trying to get it fixed, or the real hard hitter: the order in front of you is too large that you'll have to go to another restaurant cause I just won't have time for it. Yep, that's right, save yourself the drive, look elsewhere, you'll probably have better luck getting served at place that is actually advertised as closed.

The staff are friendly, efficient, and usually quite fast even during rush hours. The drive-thru moves smoothly and orders are almost always accurate, which is something many McDonald’s branches struggle with.nnThe restaurant is clean and well-kept — tables are wiped down regularly, and the washrooms are tidy. Coffee from McCafé here is surprisingly good; the baristas actually take time to make it right. I’ve also noticed they serve fresh fries most of the time — hot, crisp, and perfectly salted. The atmosphere is family-friendly, and there’s a small play area that keeps kids entertained while you enjoy your meal.nnWhether you’re a local or passing through Ballarat, this McDonald’s is a reliable stop for a quick bite, good coffee, and friendly service. A typical McDonald's restaurant. With the exception that they are light staffed after 12 despite being the go-to store in Ballarat.nYou can never get thick shakes or ice cream products after 12, and they use the excuse that they're cleaning the machine. It must be the cleanest machine in the country!
Not a good experience here.nnTravelling through Adelaide to Melbourne looking for a quick bite to eat.nnThe toilets were absolutely disgusting. Gag worthy. The one cistern was blocked and the one one urinal was not in good shape. Smell was horrendous.nnIt took over ten minutes for our order to be completed. Seemingly a grilled chicken salad is not a staple order here as it took an eternity to make. Looked terrible and whilst it was being made everything else went cold.nnTerrible.nnWon’t be back here.
