I visited this KFC on October 17 and had a very unpleasant experience. One of the pieces of chicken I received was visibly pink and undercooked inside I’ve attached photos. I politely showed it to the bearded middle-aged staff member at the counter, but instead of taking it seriously, he told me “that’s just how it is” and insisted it was safe to eat.nnI’m sorry, but that’s not acceptable — this is a food safety issue, not a matter of opinion. I even tried a small bite, and it was definitely not cooked properly. When I checked the other pieces, they were white inside, just as properly cooked chicken should be.nnFortunately, a younger staff member later helped me and replaced one piece of chicken with a much better attitude. I really appreciate that. But the way the older employee handled this situation — ignoring a clear safety concern and speaking dismissively — shows a serious lack of professionalism and care for customers.nnOne or two pieces of chicken won’t make or break your business, but honesty and responsibility matter. I hope the management addresses this issue properly.nAttached photos below
Is it just me or is KFC Ballarat the worst in the region? I have yet to get a complete order from there or not have to wait for something to finish cooking or not have to wait excessive time for service. I think I go in there just to see what now? It’s like a game of how badly are they going to stuff it up! And the best part is the manager that just say I’m sorry I’ll speak to the team! Time and time again. He sounds like that’s all he does all day long apologize for his team. The tables are always dirty the toilet is always out of soap or toilet paper or something broken. Just wanted to know is it just me that notices all this? Surely not! I think they need like a full overhaul! The picture is what KFC Ballarat considers full, that’s after having to wait 8 minutes for my chicken to cook! But they only tell you that after you order and pay!

The burgers are always stacked well, the buns are soft, and the chicken inside is thick and crunchy — not those thin, disappointing fillets you get elsewhere.nnNow the sides deserve their own appreciation. The chips are golden, salty, and always fresh. The mashed potato and gravy combo is pure comfort food — creamy, warm, and packed with flavour. Coleslaw is fresh and crunchy, and the gravy alone could honestly be a meal on its own. Everything complements the chicken perfectly.nnThe value for money is excellent too. The deals and boxes are generous, filling, and great for both individuals and families. You actually feel satisfied after eating, not still hungry or ripped off.nnOn top of the food, the service is usually fast, friendly, and efficient. Orders are prepared quickly, staff are polite, and even during busy times they keep things moving smoothly. The restaurant is generally clean and well-maintained, which makes the experience even better.nnOverall, KFC absolutely nails what fast food should be: delicious, reliable, filling, and comforting. Whether it’s a quick meal, a family dinner, or a late-night craving, KFC always delivers. Easily one of my favourite fast food chains and a place I’ll keep coming back to again and again.
