They had a banner up with 2 pieces of fried chicken for $5. BUT I couldnt get it because they didnt have it on the cash register...WTH I tried to argue but all they said was they had the wrong banner up which by the way only went up today. Disgusted and food was not hot only luke warm.
Ordered red hot fried and hot honey fried.nThe taste is good for a fried chicken. The sauce is not coated evenly., but that's okay I guess.nThe size is big, that's good.
I ordered items from DoorDash, I expect items to be slow delivered but come on!!nWhen it arrived half the items were missing, when I took the items back I asked the manager for a refund, he told me that I would have to do that through DoorDash, then I said well then at least give me fresh replacements, the smirk on his face was uncalled for and it was in a huff like attitude replaced the items. I was told that the potato an gravy was replaced with extra chips and this is exact - small chips with 5 chips in each packet the chicken tenders looked like someone had thrown them against the wall, the food was rubbery and cold. When the packs were replaced, low and behold the potato and gravies were available….nThe manager blamed DoorDash for the quality of the food, I’m sorry but stop blaming others for the stores poor quality and take responsibility for the fact that the food is horrible. You as a manager told me that the staff pack the orders, so thats on you and the staff…nI wont be back, not only to Balllarat but any Red Rooster, the franchise has basically faded into oblivion, for years it’s been horrid.
I have ordered food at the red rooster and parked my car at the customer parking and one of the delivery trucks has come and blocked customer car parking and the driver was very rude when I asked to remove the truck to come out and I went to the manager, she is helpless and staff are useless. Really the worst management and staff over there and not able to help customers who bought food from them. Deliveries should be scheduled off peak hours, No minimum sense how to plan restaurant operations/deliveries.nnReally really poor customer service and support. A big ZERO rating for their rude behavior and support.
Staff were really nice so that’s always a plus. The crispy potatoes were ok but very salty. Unfortunately the gravy was ready to go into the order 5 minutes before the actual order was ready so it was tepid warm and like glue. As it was take away, to drive back ends up no practical and a pain to return so ends up a waste of money.
