We've been here a couple of times and the staff, food and atmosphere is always great!nnThere was so many people inside that we thought we would have to wait quiet a while for anything but that was not the case.nnWithin a minute of sitting down we were given water and served.nWhen we ordered we got the food in under 10mins which me and my partner were very surprised about.nnLove the little quirkiness of the place! Coloured mugs, coloured plates, flowers and just an overall feel of cosy.nnWe will be coming back.nThank you
This cafe has the most terrible coffee. Wasted $9 for iced coffee. Mentioned it to server but no correction was done.nnFried chicken burger is bland, sauce was tastless. Eating with hands no serviettes were providednnJust terrible.nnGood view of the lake but that’s it.nnBetter to grab maccas cafe and eat from your car and see the viewnnDont waste your money here
Great little cafe overlooking the lake. Great service from staff. Carrot cake was unfortunately dry but still tasty.
Very nice regional Cafe. We had Soup of the day came with bread and salted butterand a veggie Frittata with leafy salad and coffee. Soup was great taste just the bread probably would be better if toasted. Coffex Coffee found to be really good taste and probably the reason the cafe was very busy during 3:30pm on weekday. Indoor seats were mostly full. Many elderly couples and families were enjoying hot drinks in the afternoon.nnA bit congested space fitting many small tables indoor It probably because of cold winter, outside dining was not open. But there are some small nooks that can be booked earlier to have some private time.nnStaff were very accommodating and friendly. The toilet was fairly clean. Great location of the cafe!nI recommend to visit.
Stopped here for breakfast today.nLovely views of Lake Wendouree.nBeautiful interior.nFood is very expensive though.nScrambled egg on sour dough toast with large coffee $26.50.nNext time coffee and view only.
