We had a fantastic lunch at The Boatshed Restaurant with old friends. The setting by the lake is beautiful, creating a relaxed and inviting atmosphere the moment you arrive. The menu offers a range of fresh, well-prepared dishes, and everything we ordered was delicious and portioned.nnThe service was warm, prompt, and genuinely attentive, adding to an already enjoyable experience. It’s clear the staff take pride in both the food and the overall dining environment.nnA perfect spot for a quality meal in Ballarat — great food, great views, and great service. Highly recommended!
Great location for breakfast lunch and dinner. Great view feels like your floating on the water.nnVery friendly staff.nnGreat atmosphere, great staff. Nice seating area. Food is top quality, great taste and portion.nGreat coffee and drinks too.nnOnly feedback, even though the seating is great as there's chairs as well as sofa style seating. The cushion on table 6, the cushion makes you feel like your sitting and sliding forward.
Nice location right on Lake Wendouree. 5 stars for the food. Great selection and everything was delicious. Hard to fault.nnThe 400g sirloin was cooked perfectly, kids calamari was eaten without a complaint. Would visit again.
We enjoyed the food so much on our first visit we went back the next day for more. We were only visiting Ballarat for two days. Seafood was fresh and delicious. Desserts were sublime. Thoroughly recommend the Boatshed.
The location and atmosphere are the real highlights — the view is stunning. We went at sunset and sat on the indoor deck area, which was beautiful. The restaurant itself is lovely, but unfortunately the food was disappointing, especially the lamb: it was fatty and dry…..and the 20% public holidays surcharge was surprised me.
