Love this place so much. There prawn pasta was divine, one of the best seafood pasta I've had. On the other hand, there fish and chips was average. It would have been better if they use chicken salt in my opinion. But what I love.must is the ambience amd how the place is decorated. My son enjoyed looking at their aquarium.
Cicerello’s fish and chips in Freo is an institution, and for good reason nnThe fish and chips were divine. Batter was golden and super crispy without being greasy. Fish inside was thick, flaky, and fresh - you can tell it’s local. Chips were chunky, hot, and perfectly salted. Portion was huge too.nnClassic Fremantle waterfront spot. Casual, bustling, sea breeze, and seagulls eyeing your chips. You can eat overlooking the Fishing Boat Harbour which makes it taste even better.nnFish quality is fresh WA catch, cooked to order with light and crunchy batter doesn’t overpower the fish. Generous portion- easily shareable that's why I can't finish the meal because I came alone.nDining outside is recommended to see boats, water, and that Freo atmosphere.nnGets packed on weekends and during school holidays. Prices are touristy but you’re paying for the location and freshness.nnTotally lived up to the hype. If you want classic WA fish and chips with a view, Cicerello’s delivers. Divine is the right word.
​The taste here is definitely on point, delivering that classic fish and chips flavor you expect. I opted for the Seafood Deluxe Platter to get a taste of everything they offer. It’s a great way to sample the variety, and the seafood itself felt fresh and well-seasoned.n​The only downside was the preparation of the fried items. The fried fish was quite oily, which made the meal feel much heavier than it needed to be. A bit more crispiness and less grease would have pushed this from a good meal to a great one.
Really love their tanks they apparently house WA’s largest private aquarium. The dock is also really nice and makes for great photo ops their sign outside against the blue sky and waters is just so vibrant!nnFood was not bad - we got their deluxe fish and chips and the chili mussels. Chili was on the sweet side reminds me of the chili crab sauce we get in Singapore but less spicy. Fish was pretty moist and juicy. Chips were average at best. Not life-changing but not bad at all.nnWould be a great place to bring a family esp kids!
If you love seafood and happen to be in Fremantle, this place is definitely worth stopping by. The menu offers almost every type of seafood from lobsters to fishes. The portion sizes here are generous and perfect for sharing especially if you order the combos and platters. During peak hours, the dining experience may get slightly chaotic but that is to be expected for such a popular place. The service here is decent as you have to check with the counter if your order is ready and take the cutlery yourself. Overall, I highly recommend Cicerello's Fremantle!
