Had a fantastic lunch of fresh fish and chips. There was plenty to share between 2 people and it was less than $20. The chips were awesome too. I would highly recommend this place but I bet it gets very busy at the weekend. They also have a huge menu that not only includes seafood but other Italian and Aussie dishes. We sat inside but the outdoor seating is very nice too with views of the harbour and trawlers etc.
Food is fresh, taste good. Mostly oil fried, you may consider order in moderation, if really good, order more. Once cold no long crispy. The setting is nice, great view around the area. Interesting ocean fishes and corals in tanks for viewing.nParking near restaurant is chargeable. Birds will share your food if Seating outside. Enjoy.
had one of the better fish & chips here. ordered the kids fish basket which was of a decent portion. enjoyed eating it by the sea sans the scary seagulls on the hunt!!nna friend had the salt and pepper squid which i found to be just all right. definitely favoured the fish & chips more
Had a dozen oysters for $40. They were quite small, not very sweet and not freshly shucked - prepared in advance and kept in fridge. For the price would have expected better. The salt water aquariums here are super cool though, with moray eel and scorpionfish and port Dickson sharks
We visited on a weekend afternoon, and since the indoor seating was full, we had to sit outside.nnThe restaurant is located by the pier, so the ocean view was nice, but it was very windy, making it cold and causing the food to cool down quickly. Seagulls kept landing on the parasols, which made us a bit uneasy, but they didn’t steal any food.nnThe lobster chowder was perfect for the chilly weather and tasted really good. The seafood tray wasn’t bad, but compared to the fish and chips I’ve had elsewhere, it wasn’t special.nnThe highlight of this place is the small aquariums you can check out on the way to the restroom. I probably would’ve regretted not stopping by the restroom
