Quick to fill pharmacy prescriptions. I deviate to go here over other branches which have taken much longer. Sometimes orders need to be placed for out-of-stock medicine, but they are quick to inform about collection. Click and Collect service is also very efficient. Pharmacists have also been very helpful and willing to assist.
My recent experience at Chemist Warehouse Aspley was highly disappointing and concerning. I visited the store to have a prescription filled, a medication I've been getting consistently at various Chemist Warehouse locations for over a year, always in 20mg tablets.nHowever, to my shock, upon receiving my medication, I discovered they had provided me with 10mg tablets instead. Suspecting an error, I consulted my doctor, who confirmed that the prescription indeed specified 20mg. It was a clear mistake on the part of the chemist.nReturning to the same store with the medication untouched, I hoped for a swift resolution. Instead, I was met with dismissiveness from the clerk, who continuously insisted that they filled the prescription based on what was written, implying it must have been for 10mg. Despite my repeated assurances about the prescription's accuracy, the clerk remained adamant.nEven after bringing the matter to the attention of the pharmacist, the response was shockingly inadequate. I was told there would be no refund or exchange, and the only solution offered was to simply take twice the dosage. This disregard for patient safety and well-being is utterly unacceptable.nFurthermore, when I requested to verify the prescription, I was met with the excuse that they don't keep records—a blatant disregard for standard protocol and legal obligations prescriptions must be kept for 2 years.nThe clerk's suggestion that I should have requested double-checking from the pharmacist before purchase is both insulting and ludicrous. Ensuring the correct medication is dispensed is a fundamental responsibility of any pharmacy.nIn the end, I was left out of pocket for the wrong medication and with no resolution from Chemist Warehouse Aspley. Their refusal to acknowledge fault and their apparent negligence regarding prescription records represent a significant breach in patient safety.nIt is deeply concerning to contemplate the potential consequences of such errors, especially for more vulnerable individuals. I will never return to this location and would caution others against doing so until they prioritize patient safety and accountability.
This Chemist Warehouse Location is very sketchy.nI called the pharmacy in advance to ascertain whether they had a particular product available. The pharmacist assured me they did. I was working at an aged care facility in Aspley that day, though I've never resided in this neighbourhood.nTo my horror, after waiting 45 minutes for the pharmacist to complete the prescription, he informs me 'we're completely out of stock.'nI asked how could this be as NO ONE else has the name DIANNA FILIPPELLI in the nation.nnHe replied, 'a delivery driver from Coles took the supply earlier today. I have no way of contacting him.' Ironically, I had a Coles delivery scheduled to arrive that evening. I checked my phone and there were five missed calls from ONE mobile number.nnI called this abherrant number and I asked 'who is this?'nn'It's Coles, I'm the delivery driver' a snarky voice replied.nn'Do you have my grocery order?'nn'Yes, I have all your orders and I'm at home now, so you won't be receiving them,' he abruptly retorted.nnThe line DISCONNECTED. I called COLES Customer Service to no avail. They claimed they had no ability to contact delivery drivers, which I found rather disturbing and incredulous.nnI never recovered my COLES delivery or prescription medicine.nnSince, this unconscionable, uncanny experience in 2021 I have never ordered from Coles. I also have never returned to Aspley. I have many associates who have encountered similiar Supply chain HORRORS here. So, be wary of conducting business in this location.
Been here today to make vaccine injection.nNot impressed by shopping centre but.. Got vaccinated with no issues.nWould recommend.nStaff is friendly and experienced.
Visited this store for female health needs and the male pharmacist on duty was rude and lacked compassion even disrespecting my needs by saying a pharmacy only medication would need a script if I needed to purchase more than one despite being advised by my GP that a script was not needed. The pharmacists name was Derek and he needs to improve how he speaks to women and show more respect and understanding for our needs. I was disrespected and shown no kindness by this male health professional.
