On 2/12/2025 around 5:30 PM, I was shopping with my own eco-bag, which I always use without any issue. A security guard came up to me and told me not to put items in my bag. Fine — I moved everything into a basket.nnBut then it got ridiculous.nnThe same security guard kept following me around the store, staring at me and watching my every move. After I paid and was leaving, he came up again and demanded to check my receipt and my bag.nnI was extremely offended and humiliated. If they really thought I was stealing, the alarm would go off, and they could just check my bag at the exit. Instead, I was basically treated like a criminal while I was simply shopping.nnThis kind of behaviour is completely unacceptable. I’ve never experienced anything like this anywhere else. I left the store feeling shocked and disgusted, and I won’t be coming back.
Very bad customer service.nnI placed order for click and collect at 8 in the morning, and been 8 hours, I didn’t receive any response to pick up normally it’s around 4 hours. Then I called the shop to make sure my order, they said ok, we are doing it, you can come to pick up. After 20 minutes drive, when I arrived at the car park, I received the message said the order is canceled. How can you not upset. Drive all the way for nothing. Very bad experience.
Might be cheap, but the customer service is appalling here. Waited for 15 minutes tomorrow off a script, said I'd collect it the next day. Had to practically do a dance to make eye contact on pickup, and the scripts were not ready. Dropped off at 5:40pm for 8:40am collection. So far they can't even find my scripts ‍nn10 minutes later: scripts hadn't been done. Also managed to get my first name totally incorrect. Impressive effort for e-scripts. Filled in the time. Y chatting to another customer who had been issued I correct medicine. Twice.nnNot coming back.
I visited this Chemist Warehouse to shop for perfume, but unfortunately there were no testers on display, which made it impossible to choose a fragrance. When I asked the staff for help, they were unhelpful and seemed disinterested in assisting. Overall it was a frustrating experience and I left without buying anything. The store would be much better if they provided testers and had staff who can actually help customers.
Waited 50 minutes for 1 box of antibiotics got told it’d be 10-15 mins, wasn’t the only one who had waited that long. Pharmacists just doing barely anything taking ages with attitude. Staff on the register were friendly.
