Absolutely loved the waterfall rock pools. Not a easy place to take young children under 2. A lot of walking so great exercise. The water was cold but absolutely amazing on a 36 degree day. Highly recommend.

Great spot! Nice walk and good for a dip if you like. Parking is scarce but well worth the walk.

Very busy during Christmas (the day I went) and parking spots are limited so arrive early to grab one. Having own camping chairs and tables has the benefit of moving under the shade when the sunlight shifts as well as being able to sit on grassier areas. Bring plenty of drinking water. Has a rock pool with walking distance so bring swimmers and thongs.

Great if you get there early to beat the crowds and also to get a carpark - otherwise you're parking right at the very top and walking back down and that's BEFORE you even make your way down to the falls. There are shady areas on the rocks to sit and leave your stuff but when it gets really busy it's almost like you're sitting on top of each other. The water is nice and refreshing - great spot to cool off in the qld heat.
