One of my favourite places to go during the summer in Waiheke. You can spend the day looking back at the city while you relax with some good wine and delicious food. There are also bean bags on the lawn but you will have a reduced menu if ordering from there The food is delicious, so fresh and the menu is updated regularly. This time we had oysters, prawns, pizza beetroot salad.....a bit of a banquet actually 😀 Go there, you won’t be disappointed

We attended Cable Bay for a Corporate Function and sit down lunch. The service was great, waiters and waitresses were very friendly and the food was exceptional. They provided multiple delicious Vegetarian options for those at our table. My favourite dish was the fish. Would definitely choose to come here for future functions

We did the wine tasting. Wines are very nice, however the wine tasting experience was very poor. Wines were served on the same glass, not even rinsing it between different varieties. To top it off we couldn’t even sit down as there were no seats available, and we weren’t allowed to do the tasting outside as it’s restaurant only.

Amazing view and good food~ We were there for a meeting at their function room. The staff was very nice and attentive. Although the food came out quite slow as the place is very busy in the weekend. My favourite is the lamb, very tender~

Amazing views, and the setting was absolutely beautiful. However that is where I think the positives stopped for me. For an upmarket vineyard, the staff attentiveness was not up to standard - I did notice (maybe) the night manager was lounging around and having a beer with his mates (perhaps he finished his shift). Would I recommend them - yes, but it would not top the list for a must try experience.
