Lovely place, had come highly recommended by so many people and it didn’t disappoint. I think the waitress was new so it was a little bit slow but the food and coffee more than made up for it. All the staff were lovely and friendly.nWe had coffees and brunch, both had clean plates. The nicest creamy mushrooms I’ve ever had.nCoffee was to die for.nGreat place to eat, lovely atmosphere - would eat here again.
Had Crispy Eggplant, Slow cooked and Grilled Lamb Shoulder, Beef Shortrib Agnolotti and Snapper Risotto.nnCame back next day morning for breakfast and it was so satisfying! We had Creamy Mushroom Foccacio, Eggs Benedict with Bacon and Foccacio with Poached Egg & Pork Sausauge!
The service provided was of exceptional quality, and I firmly believe that the pizza I had the pleasure of consuming here is the finest I have ever tasted.
Decent pizza and pasta. We got the duck pasta and 3 different pies. We could have used a little more finishing salt on the pasta. But we all agreed the prosciutto was the best.
Fenice Italia Restaurant on Waiheke Island exceeded our expectations in every aspect. We dined there three times over the weekend, and each experience was exceptional. The Pesce Del Giorno and Confit Duck Pappardelle were both incredibly flavorful, showcasing the chef's talent on Friday night. The cakes, carrot, and Black Forest on Saturday afternoon were moist and delicious, they added a candle knowing it was my birthday which was a special touch. Breakfast was equally impressive, with the Curious Cropper Tomatoes and Cashew Cheese stealing the show. Despite being busy, the service remained efficient and friendly. Fenice Italia is undoubtedly a must-visit destination on the island, offering divine flavors and impeccable service.
