First time trying this venue today for a late lunch. Was greeted with a big smile from the staff member that showed me to our table and brought over a high chair upon request. You have to go up to the counter on the left to order the meals. I chose the barramundi curry from the specials board. Got lucky because kids eat free for lunch and dinner on Sundays. I ordered spaghetti and chips from the kids menu and also got a voucher for a drink and ice cream which had to be redeemed at the counter on the right. The meals came out within in a reasonable time. The barramundi was crispy and well cooked. The rice underneath was a bit of a let down it was clumped together and wasn't the best texture. There was lots of sauce which I found to be on the sweet side. The potatoes and greens were a welcome addition. The kids meal was a generous portion. My little one enjoyed it. Great value and pleasant dining experience. Would be keen to return and try the other items on the menu.

You can really tell everything is made with care. with a great range of beers, wines, and cocktails to suit all tastennIt’s the kind of pub you could happily spend hours in, whether you’re catching up with friends, having a relaxed meal, or just popping in for a quick drink. Highly recommend, and I’ll definitely be back!
We're an older couple and like our food a certain way. The Burpengary Tavern caters to our needs perfectly. Can't wait to eat there 2 or 3 times a week.
Best pub in the area by far. Staff are always friendly, beers always cold. Best on tap selection I’ve seen in a very long time! Unmatched.
Food pretty substandard compared to local areas. Pokies room not clean, Staff members not very classy, swearing and more interested in each other than customers. Won’t waste my time coming back.
