LOVED our visit to the Burleigh surf club yesterday! No booking but welcomed us in, so friendly & were seated straight away. Staff jumped into action and helped when my son knocked his juice over, so helpful and the vege food was delicious!! Multiple options!!nPlus the beautiful view.nFilled our cups! Highly recommend, and can’t wait to visit again soonnnSadly photos are taken half way through the meal as all looked so yummy we just had to dig straight in, but fresh and loaded with goodness.
Great view of the beach and surf quick service 2 mains in 15 -20 mins at most wait even with venue full.nFriendly helpful staff good seafood only reason not 5 was slightly dry fish all else was perfect.
There is also a tiny entrance to the restaurant from the beachside with a sign next to Ben & Jerry’s. In addition, you order foods at the counter and drinks at the bar just right next to it.nnSeafood Woodfired Pizza $30:nThank the chef for not putting the sauce that contains onions and garlics and he said all pizzas are based on that sauce.nAs a result, without that sauce, the pizza is absolutely delicious and I love how soft the pizza itself is and the mozzarella also has a unique texture. Most importantly, the best part is when you eat all kinds of seafood with the capsicums.nnBesides, if you don’t drink alcohols. they also have soft drinks like lemon squash, pink lemonade, Pepsi etc at around $4.5 in a glass.nnUnfortunately, restaurant gets relatively bustling at Sunday noon and all the window tables are occupied when I try to get one. It’s considerate of the cashier that you can switch your order or customise your food if you are allergic to something in your food. The bartender is also friendly and agile enough to deal with such long queue in a short period of time.nnTo top it off, excellent service, outstanding food, great scenery, slightly high prices but absolutely worth a visit, 9.5 out of 10!
I love this place for its open air view of the surf. I always stop in for a coldie on the verandah. If I can get a table at the front, the middle isn't so bad either.nI liken it to Burleigh Pavilion without the pretentiousness.
We booked the Surf Club as the venue for our wedding in March 2025 and it was a seamless and amazing experience. Tina was incredibly helpful, polite and took the time to answer any and all of our questions leading up to and planning the day. She had recommendations for vendors such as decorations was not pushy at all who turned out to be amazing and reasonably priced without compromising high quality and professional services. Her advice when planning for food and drinks was honest and saved us from wasting money on unnecessary extras.nnThe venue itself was perfect, one week after the cyclone we were booked for our wedding and everything was managed and communicated clearly and timely. The deck overlooking the ocean was the perfect back drop for our ceremony. Being able to have the ceremony and reception all at the one location made the event even more enjoyable and seamless transition.nnTina handled many unplanned interruptions between guests and resolved them quickly and professionally going well and truly above and beyond her role to make sure our day was special. We will be forever grateful to her calming and caring approach to make sure the day was memorable and enjoyable for all.nnThe whole staff throughout the night from the food to bar staff were very accommodating, always ensuring the safety of guests and handled the crowd exceptionally well in a friendly manner.nnWe highly recommend booking this venue for a wedding or any other occasion!
