Finn was my bartender, and he was so accommodating in my changes to my cocktail - and made it extra special! He was so kind and polite, very well mannered and funny. Will definitely visit again and request Finn. Thank you!!
Good food, pork belly bites were so yummy , Had steak, duck and Lamb rump all were fab , cooked perfect with great glazes or sauces.Quick service and not too long to wait even when it seemed busy.nVery enjoyable
My cousin and her wee puppy Penfold came to visit and we popped off to find a dog friendly restaurant in Burleigh!nFortuitously we walked by this place first....Penfold's Mummy went in to order our meals and found....wait for it...nA Puppy Menu!nShe chose the protein bowl... which came with either steak or chicken parmigiana...nPenfold had the waitress come and personally congratulate him on his choice of the steak which came with brocollini, beans, kibble and a Schmacko.nThe humans chose Lobster and Prawn Rolls which came with chips....nAll species of diner left satiated and happy...but Penfold did have difficulty using his cutlery xnOur wonderful lunch instantly made Penfold want to move up to the Gold Coast with his humans asap or he will have no choice but to move in with Aunty Sue...hint hint cuz....5 stars!!!
I’ve visited many times and my experience has been great. Today is the UFC and I reserved a table on the Terrace with no knowledge the UFC will not be in view which is a fault of my own.nnSince my reservation was an hour prior to the fight, I decided to ask the staff to see if there may be a table to reserve inside to watch the UFC after we eat lunch on the terrace. I was met with such rudeness by Octavia. She was SO snappy. She stated “what you can see is what we got, I only have outside”. I was so taken aback by the tone of her voice and body language! I don’t understand why she treated my partner and I that way. I was very kind and just asking a question, there was no aggression or pressure in my question. If it was a no then so be it. I’m just shocked!nnShe later offered a table of 4 and obviously didn’t bother checking my reservation as I had a table of 6. I’ve worked in service for 10 years. She obviously holds herself to a lower standard than I did. Don’t work on days that obviously give you pressure to the point of treating customers rudely if you can’t handle it.nnEdited:nMy partner later saw a table open up inside and he asked staff if we are able to take it once the customers left and we were able to secure a table.nnMy mum and I stood outside while the waitresses cleared it. Once cleared, we walked up to the table. That same woman Octavia came by and was so rude to my mum. She told her to wait so she can wipe the table down. Again, her tone of voice was incredibly hostile and I’m in absolute shock of her attitude. My mum immediately said she was not about to sit down, she was checking if the barcode had a number to tell staff where to bring out food as we ordered from another table. Even so, if we want to sit, we can sit. She was SO rude. She argued with my mum before I told her she has been so rude to us since the start and she snapped back at me and said “if you’re going to be rude to me, you can leave”. I was frustrated with the way we have been treated by this woman so I told her to just clean the table even with manners because I genuinely hate conflict Once done, she had a sarcastic smile and muttered “there you go”.nnAbsolutely SHOCKING behaviour. I genuinely don’t understand what her problem was. As a hospitality worker myself, I ALWAYS treat everyone with kindness and fellow hospitality workers with extra care. I’m lost for words with the attitude and downright disrespect.
