Great food and service previously! ***Edit*** Popped in for a coffee expecting the usual great coffee and service only to be disappointed by both. Prices up for food and coffee was very ordinary. Presentation has slipped with only cutlery on tables with no condiments. Was asked if we wanted sugar when the coffee came out and were subsequently bought 1 sachet. Went inside and no sugar at counter; found it hidden next to the coffee machine. Seems that previous posts are right about a possible change in management AND standards. Real shame!

We used to go there religiously and then the prices went up and the food became sub standard....so we stopped going. We tried it again tonight after 1 year and I feel like the reasons we feel in love with the place many years ago is back. We had an amazing meal and both my husband and I looked at each other during the meal and said 'the old pocket is back'. We were thrilled....and can't wait to go back next time we are in Burleigh.

Very busy on a weekend lunch (like most shops in this area). If you are lucky enough to get a seat try out the front as the back part is very hot - or there is take out option. Really fresh and delicious salads and dips. Recommend one of the share plates with some extra bread.
