So we had the place recommended by a taxi driver on our ride from the airport... WOW, just wow! This place was great from the outset. It's a fairly small restaurant with a lovely laid back atmosphere, not too loud but vibrant nonetheless. Service was absolutely amazing, I know nothing about wine other than I like drinking it! and they were so pleased to suggest different wines with different courses to compliment the food, every time spot on! Well, the food, that was also next level, we had prawn cocktail and the smoked selection to start, both beautifully presented and flavorful! And the Patagonian Toothfish as the mains, it was described as "the pork belly of the sea", a great description, it's gorgeous! Desert was also amazing but I've written to much already, just go eat there, you won't be disappointed :)

Friendly staff and good food but...

Very small portions for the prices they are charging. Food taste and quality are great but I have had better for cheaper. Nothing falls in the category of "to die for" for the grilled octopus was served with a delicious sauce.
The potato and green refills are very slow. 
The view from the restaurant is nice as you can see the beach. But if you are trying to find a parking spot forget it! Every surfer, swimmer and beach goers have their cars parked all across the street.

Comfort atmosphere with nice food & helpful staff. Food taste good. Overall worth the price.

I’d say this is one of my favourite restaurants in Australia.
Beautiful seafood and paired wine.
Service is a high standard, knowledgeable and passionate about the menu.

One of the best places to eat on the coast. It is pricey but well worth it to treat yourself to a night out.
