I went to the store looking for a specific product. I first approached an employee and asked for assistance. He told me he wasn’t sure, but kindly suggested that one of his colleagues would be able to help me.nnI then approached a young man with long hair and simply asked if he could help me. Without even asking what I was looking for, he immediately replied, “No.”nnAs a result, I left the store without the product I needed and with a very poor impression of the level of customer service.
Useless as a “big box” hardware store. Limited stock and items often out of stock. Staff are mostly clueless and usually respond to questions with a blank stare, like a dog that’s been shown a card trick.nSafe yourself the grief and drive ten minutes up the road to the Gaffney St store.nOn a positive note, great place if you want to buy an indoor plant…
It’s a little Bunnings, it’s brilliantly convenient obviously. The five star review is for the kind staff.nnThe lovely lady behind the till noticed I had caught my thumb while browsing and went out of her way to give me a plaster and antiseptic wipes. I appreciate the thoughtfulness and only wish I had taken note of her name.
When I went to this Bunnings I was very lost in what I actually needed for the job, thankfully Oliver was there to help, he looked after me, offered loads of useful information and made my day with how enthusiastic he was in helping me. This really made my visit, I will be back and will tell others about how well trained the staff are here in Brunswick.nThanks Oliver!
It's fine. But missing half of the normal stock from a typical Bunnings which isn't surprising given it's about half as big, however the selection of what does get stocked and what doesn't is questionable. Why are there 5 different brands of aviation snips but they don't stock 90 degree pliers? The staff are lovely and this is not their issue but it's something that needs a serious look at.
