Bunnings Brunswick

Smaller than others but I always find what I was looking for. For big projects perhaps head to a bigger store. Decent range if you just need one or two things.

Went in for a project I’m doing for my kindergarten class. Helpful staff except one chap who moaned and groaned about cutting a piece of timber and would only do it once...so I had one piece to size and one piece I couldn’t fit in my car and then told me they couldn’t keep it there. I understand they only had a hand saw but honestly it would have taken an extra 30 seconds of customer service to solve the issue. Spent 10 dollars on a 30 cm piece of crookedly cut pine. Will be going elsewhere next time. Waste of a community kindergarten’s money.

The only Bunnings where the staff don’t maintain the high reputation. Very disappointed with the service by the two girls at the front desk who were more interested in chatting about beer than doing there job.

Came here reluctantly as Cornwell's has gone and Lygon Hardware is shutting down. Don't really know why i expected anything different but you can't get any decent advice (nice staff though), the stock is all ready to fall apart within a week and the stock they do have is for casual DIY types. The last oasis of a quality family hardware business is Inner City Garden Supplies in Brunswick East. Go there.

Fairly helpful staff but the place is pretty tight and not easy to get around.
