Worst rental experience I have ever had. Front of house staff are rude and needed to address issues with management both picking up cars and returning them. Any specials are quickly absorbed by insurance excess premiums. Never use.

Telephone experience in Budget does not work.... phone is not answered in Surfers Paradise.... You get routed to call centre, who only knows the airport agency, call again, and back to call centre, even though Surfers Agency is open... this time operators cannot tell me how far the agency is from the Hilton... " I do not live there I am told". All in all, a disappointing experience for a business today on our account. Need to start looking elsewhere I think.

Awesome car rental hire experience right from onset to car hire return. Rockstar employee by the name of Graham is an absolute gentleman in every aspect. Very friendly and highly professional. Graham is an enormous asset to the Budget organisation.

My plans for this week have been completely hijacked due to the Debit Card policy. Yes, its not the fault of the individual car rental service I organised the hire through but I'm a returning customer and it's ludicrous that you refer to yourself as 'Budget Car and Truck Rental' when you then proceed to hold $400 because you've had issues with stolen cars. I don't see how that could be the case when I have had to provide my licence as identification on each occasion. If this is common practice and you're still having cars stolen, then your screening process is the problem.

Staff are friendly and very efficient and helpful, I hire cars here every 3 months, always have great service, the cars are always in perfect condition
