We called in hoping to pick berries but none on offer. The little cafe was open and tables in the sun had great water views. We wandered around for a short time but really couldn’t find anything of interest. Purchased an ice cream cone each and sat for a short time to plan the remainder of the day. Guess sufficient people do the same to keep the business operating. Maybe better when berries on offer.

They sold out cheesecake when I got there :( Best advise is to go earlier (I got there at 3pm so it was my fault)! Nevertheless, their pancake, waffle and scones were delicious. Coffee's great too! Must visit if you're at Bruny island.

We couldn’t recommend more highly this place for a light morning or afternoon tea. We order scones, almond cake and a cheesecake, all with the local berries. Everything was wonderful. What’s more, food was reasonably priced from $6.50 to $9.00. The owner and staff were most welcoming and friendly. Beautiful setting in front of the water. Make sure you drop by.

Went there for a break after mind boggling Bruny Island Wilderness Cruise! No berry picking because the day before somebody had wiped out the whole farm. What a shame. Ordered some pancakes. Had to wait for close to 30 mins and the cafe wasn't even full. Pancakes came and they were crispy like pan-biscuits. Definitely overrated and nothing special. Go somewhere else for your meal if you can.
