This newly refurbished restaurant is a worthwhile visit when you are passing the mountains. The food are fantastic. Their home made liver pate and beef cheek steak are highly recommended.

Celebrated Mums 80th birthday here today with lunch for 21 of our family. The food was ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING!! And our host Tom was fantastic, nothing was too difficult. Can’t believe how perfect the day was, massive thank you to the team for making it amazing. Can’t recommend highly enough.

Firstly, the view and decor is first rate. There are lots of historical things to look at and there are tvs that are showing documentary style information. However, the open area means that when there are many people it can get VERY noisy. We were unable to get high tea, due to the timing of our visit, so we just got some pastries which were nice. Be prepared to spend if you want an actual meal though, as they were pricey. But for a cup of tea and a slice of cake they were very nice.
