Story

Black Swan Winery & Restaurant is the Swan Valley's premier wine and dining experience. This world-class venue was designed by owners Barry Scrivener and Robyn Meloury with the sole purpose of taking in the breathtaking panorama, with floor to ceiling uninterrupted views of the picturesque surroundings.

Unwind in this magnificent establishment overlooking our vineyard, adjacent rural properties, and grazing farm animals set against the backdrop of the Darling Range. Experience the ambience of unique architecture with its mixture of rustic elegance, openness and grandeur.

I went for lunch with my family. The place was busy. As we had a one-year old we requested to seat outside. The staff immediately set up a table for us on the terrace. The staff were all friendly and helpful. The food was great! we took several small plates to share and everything was tasty and of high quality. My favorite was the Morton bay bug, it was perfect. As I am French, the French chef came to say hello and chat. We liked the wooded chardonnay and the Shiraz. The whole experience was very enjoyable, and I plan to go back.

Organised a lunchean for my husband's 70th Birthday on April 29 2018 for 18 people. Starter and main meal, choice of 3 for each course. Everyone enjoyed their meal and staff very helpful and friendly. We would all go again.

Avoid going on a Saturday. Full of drunks falling on their arses in the vines, taking over the singer's microphone, and being overall obnoxious. There was a miscommunication on our booking and the "function manager" was called over to sort it out. I have never met such a sour, rude person. Walked away whilst I was politely talking to her an sorting out the issue (needed 3 extra seats as communicated with our tour group). Was snide for the rest of our stay and when it was time to pay she scoffed at us for using entertainment cards (which we entitled to use) and then proceeded to have a go at one of our guests about each individual paying for what they ate; this was something 3 seperate wait staff said they'd happily do. This woman took issue with it and told our guest that she was tired of that and that she would need to settle the rest of our bill. The rest of the wait staff was lovely and accommodating and the food was fairly nice. Such a shame to say this place has been overtaken by riff raff both in the clientele and particular staff department.

Old and run down. Service was ok and so was the cleanliness. Food was ok. Steak was a good cut of meat and fairly well cooked but the chips tasted like they were out of a packet and the aoli had a bit of a funny taste. Wine was good but it wasnt worth suffering through the meal.

Beautiful winery, lovely gentleman for tasting wines, and the establishment had lovely views of the winery.
