We went to look at kitchens, to get some ideas, a very helpful guy came and spent ages with us, showing us colours styles etc. Nothing was too much trouble.
Decent homebase generally, but did not have the energizer lithium batteries I was looking for, so no purchase today.
We went there for garden tools, hose, etc. and we found a very good range at reasonable prices. There were no cheap rubbish on the shelves either which I applaud. We also ended up in the plant area and found good variety some at very low prices compared to the big garden centres.
Great shop with everything you need for your home. The cost in there isn’t that bad either
Picked up a bargain today….. Yankee Candles £5 each. Brilliant bargains to be had through the store. Summer clearance!!! Love this store, great staff, easy to get around.
The store is much more compact now. Not the greatest range of items. More angled towards paint and paper.
Lovely staff, especially in the garden section. Returned my item without question. Well deserved 5 there team!
Great place to get your diy items. Depending on the day, you might get a good customer service. If not, do not fret just ask any staff. But prices have escalated quite dramatically so cautious is advised. Question is - fo you need it or want it? Occasionally they do some great offers. There is room for improvement overall. There us ample working around and other stores nearby to visit too. Thank you and have a great day
Popped into the Christchurch store at 8.30am today as we entered the store we said good morning to a female member of staff with burgundy hair wearing a cap, as we entered the store we said hello and she gave us a dirty look and said hi then walked off?!, we needed to buy a karcher washer and lots of plants, we had problems finding a member of staff to ask for help until we stumbled across the lady again with the attitude, we asked can yo help us get this washer please, she snatched the ticked off me and walked off then we waited in the isle for her to come back, she come towards us saying it’s on the desk then walked strait past us! We needed other things like a watering can, and water butt connection etc but she didn’t even ask if we needed anything else? There was no smile or ever a thank you!, we spent over £200. I’m writing this because i was embarrassed for the old gentleman I was helping on this visit, he was utterly disgusted with her lack of customer service and really bad attitude towards us! I recognised her because I have Been a regular customer in your store, she used to work of a evening putting stock out. This woman needs training to learn some manners, customer service, politeness, because at the end of the day you’ve just lost a valuable customer. “DISGRACE”!.
Tried click and collect once more, should have known better Goods not arrived, can’t contact store or office Have my money , but they don’t care Never use this service , this is the third time this has happened Will not use this store again rip off merchants be aware
