The following review is about my experience with the Big W Marketplace.nnnnI ordered a cool desk light from Big W Marketplace on 7 December. Big W told me, with the confidence of a man who has definitely checked his diary, that it would arrive between 15 and 22 December.nnReader, it did not.nnOn 23 December, with Christmas breathing down my neck like a judgmental aunt, I politely asked the Marketplace seller where my parcel was.nnOn Christmas Eve, they replied to tell me it would arrive in another 7 to 14 days. Because nothing says “Christmas magic” like a logistics update from China after the carols have finished.nnThe tracking shows the item was only dispatched after I asked where it was. Which suggests the original delivery estimate was less “estimate” and more “festive fiction”.nnSo now I am one Christmas present short. Not because I forgot. Not because I was disorganised. But because I trusted the information on Big W’s website. A bold move. A naive move. A mistake I will discuss with my therapist.nnBig W is a beloved Australian institution. But if you’re going to run a Marketplace, maybe don’t promise Santa and deliver the Easter Bunny.nnOne star. Would have been zero, but I respect ambition.
I would just like to say how impressed I was with Tanya. She went above and beyond to assist me in looking for what I wanted. You should feel proud to have her working in your store! Again Tanya, thank you so much for your help. Highly commended by a very happy customer.
Went to get my disposable camera film developed only to find big w actually cancelled that service about 9 months ago.. awkward.. but the gentleman at the media counter was so helpful considering it was 30minutes until closing and he looked really busy - he even provided me the name of another business in the local area that can develope the film. Honestly love how genuine he was. Even though I wasn't a paying customer, it was really great service!
I ordered a bed online and i got the order. When i opened it i saw there is no screws in it, i thought screws doesn’t come with it then i went to bunning bought that screws came back, started assembling when i reached to part number 6 that was missing too. I contacted to online team they said its gonna take 3-8 business day to send these parts to you. This is so unprofessional i will never buy anythingnonline from you guys again.
