Absolutely disgusted in the “service” we’ve had with Harvey Norman flooring department. Ordered our floors a good 3 weeks in advance only to be told on the day of installation that they didn’t have enough stock because the order wasn’t processed. Was then told it would be a week at most to get the flooring in to finish the job.... that was almost 2 weeks ago! We have had to contact them numerous times to find out what is going on, ZERO contact from them to keep us in the loop, and my sons bedroom has been sitting unfinished and unusable for the last 2 weeks! Absolutely appalling and I would highly recommend never using this company again for any kind of house renovations. The only good thing I can say is that the blokes doing the installation were very professional and good at their jobs - those poor blokes are still waiting for their payment because of this mess around also!!

Absolutely disgusted by the sheer gaul of your furnishing member Helen. My grandparents came in this week to purchase a small table and they spent $200 on one. My grandfather who is over 80, heavily disabled and noticeable disabled specifically asked Helen if the table was already set up and she lied and stated that all they had to do was screw in the wheels on the bottom. They paid a deposit and came back the next day and paid the rest and went to the warehouse and were handed a flat pack table. My grandfather said to the warehousing that he was told it was already set up and they just brushed him off and told him that's the way it was. He was angry because he said he wouldn't have bought it if he had known and was angry that Helen had specifically lied to him. I came to visit today to help them and set up the table and the extra kick in the gut is the table would have been impossible for my elderly grandparents to set up and took me close to an hour to set up to find out that the table top piece was even faulty and didn't have any of the holes to use to finish the table! I returned the table and I was in a fury considering that already 1) your horrible staff member had lied and taken advantage of an disabled elderly person and then 2) sell something that was faulty I was handed off to a gentleman who I was told was the boss. This guy said that Helen was a lovely lady and she made a mistake. He did not at any stage look at the table OR the receipt and yet he knew who it was that took advantage of my grandparents so I wonder if this is not the first time that Helen 'the lovely lady' has done something like this. He asked me if I wanted a refund which I refused because I had just spent an hour setting up this POS table and just wanted a new table top and for him to complete it for me. He said well why don't you take the floor stock one which is already set up which I said no I want you to go out the back and get me another flat pack and a new table top to complete the table because I'd prefer a new table which my grandparents paid for not floor stock that's probably been there for a while. He told me that wouldn't be possible because they didn't have another one and would probably have to source one from another store and to come back tomorrow which I refused as today is the only day I can help my grandparents and I ended up accepting the demo floor stock because I just wanted to get out of your store. I also do not appreciate being told by the boss that my grandparents should have just called and they would have set it up to which my answer is they don't speak proper English. So your staff member really went all out to rip off two elderly pensioners one of which heavily disabled. I am appalled by the fact that you have staff who take advantage of elderly folk and honestly you should all be shamed of yourselves 😡 5 starts for being rip off artists though!

Product knowledge pretty bad, only really wanted to sell me one brand but couldnt tell me why it was better than the other brands, didn't seem to listen to my request when I asked for her opinion on top 4 vacuums under 400 she went straight to her preferred brand with a price of over 700. Offered a demo but that was just turning the vacuum on and off on clean carpet before she was taking it off me to put back on display. Service and knowledge at The Good Guys was far superior - Harvey Norman lost a sale and TGGs gained one

I went to the Booval store today and I met the nicest most helpful person her name was Janelle, she works in the camera department. A huge thank you for all of your help plus doing it with a lovely smile and personality you are wonderful. Susie

Staff are so pleasant and very helpful, only to happy to answer questions about any of their products...Lovely and well set out store...I am always happy when I shop at Harvey Norman Booval
